I’m blown away by this lovely review from Gemma, owner of Pickles. 🤩
Yes she was spicy, but a little confidence and understanding her behaviour ensured she had her meds and was calm while I was with her.

We honestly couldn’t recommend Alex highly enough! ❤️

Looking after our cat is no easy task. She is incredibly awkward, very temperamental and, quite frankly, absolutely hates everyone! 😂

On top of that, she’s diabetic and needs insulin injections twice a day, so leaving her with someone is something we never take lightly.

But Alex was absolutely brilliant from the start. She was patient, calm and completely unfazed by our little madam’s attitude, and somehow managed to earn her trust — which is no small achievement! 😂

Knowing she was being looked after properly, getting her injections on time and being cared for by someone who understood her quirks gave us complete peace of mind while we were away.

We came home to a happy, well-cared-for cat, and we couldn’t have asked for more. Thank you, Alex, for taking such amazing care of our difficult little madam and making leaving her so much easier for us. 🐾❤️

5 stars from us, and despite her best efforts to pretend otherwise, we think she secretly approves too! 😂

🚨 5 Subtle Signs of Feline Stress
🚽 Litter Tray Shifts: Accidentally (or deliberately) missing the tray is rarely done out of spite. It’s one of the most common ways cats express distress or territorial insecurity.
👅 Over-Grooming: Licking the same spot obsessively—often on their belly or inner back legs—to the point of bald patches is a classic self-soothing mechanism.
