We thought we'd give you a little update on Princess Donut!! 👸🍩

It's been 5 weeks since she came into our care with her horrific injury, and we are happy to say she is doing so well!! 😻 Her wound is looking so much better and so close to being fully healed 🙏 (pictures in comments, but pleased be warned, it's quite GRAPHIC)

She was finally able to start her vaccines this week, which means she is now on the way to being able to find herself a new home soon!!

She is the most loving, gentle and sweet girl, especially after all she has been through ❤️ and she will make someone a very happy owner one day!

🌈 Unfortunately we have some sad news to share. Little Nova, part of the family we collected last night, has sadly crossed over the rainbow bridge 🌈

We noticed that she was half the size of her siblings, so were a little concerned. Her foster carer got up through the night to try and give her extra feeds, but she just wasn't really taking much at all. We popped her to the vets this morning, and she seemed to still have a little fight in her, and we wanted to give her a chance.

As much as we tried, she just got worse through the day and we knew she could not fight any longer. It looked likely that she had an infection where her umbilical cord had been, so it had possibly been spreading since she was born 🥺
We made the decision to do the kindest thing and help her pass over 💔

As sad as this outcome is, we can be thankful that she was warm & loved before she went ❤️

☆Please let Nova be a reminder as to why neutering is so important!! Too many cats have to go through such suffering just because they aren't neutered! Just one simple operation can stop it all! PLEASE neuter your cats!!☆

A few days ago we were contacted about a stray cat who had given birth in someone's garden. Sadly one of the kittens had already passed away and the rats had got to her. 💔
The kind lady Debbie contacted many rescues for help, including us, but like us, everywhere was full 😫

We also tried to help find a rescue for them, but with no luck. However, we just couldn't leave these babies, especially knowing the danger they were in with rats around. We managed to find a wonderful fosterer, and even though we really can't afford anymore 😬 we agreed to go collect them and get them somewhere safe.

So last night, 2 of us went on our first little rescue mission!

Obviously mommy cat was very scared and protective of her babies, but she couldn't resist the lickilix and tuna. Once we gained her trust a little, she came out for food and we took the chance to pick her up and get her into a carrier. Then we popped her 3 little babies in with her too.

She is now settling into her foster home and has been named Eclipse 🖤 Her babies, 2 girls and a boy are now named Nova, Cosmo & Astro ✨️ Little Nova is less than half the size of her siblings, weighing just 71g! 😫 She will be getting extra feeds to try and help, and we just have to pray that she's a little fighter and will make it 🙏

Meet our latest intake, Echo🥹❤️

Handed into a vets, sadly Echo was born with no eyes but honestly this does not stop him!

He’s such an incredible cat that’s captured all of our hearts already ❤️

Keep an eye on our page for more updates on him 🐾

The vets have agreed to do an enucleation at cost price to help us out for taking him on. Although he doesn’t have eyes, discharge and tears remain so all of that needs to come out and the sockets need to be stitched up to prevent reoccurring infections. This is still going to cost us but look at him - how could we say no!?!?🫣

Our sweet girl bunny hasn’t had a single enquiry and that truly breaks our hearts 💔

She’s such a loving a girl and after spending probably her whole life having kittens and being a momma she truly deserves the chance for her forever after now and to just be herself!

Can go with kids 8+ but younger ones may upset her.
Needs to be the only pet as she’s prefers all the attention to herself 🥰

We're excited to try something new! 🐾 Would you consider helping us vaccinate one of our adorable kittens? 🥹 Each vaccine costs £42, and since each cat needs two doses, that totals £84 per cat.

We’ve introduced a tiered pledge system:
- Pledge £5-£10 to receive a personalized certificate and a special image of the cat you're helping.
- Pledge £15-£25 to get all of the above, plus a free pen and a keyring.
- Pledge £30 or more to enjoy everything above, plus an update with multiple photos and the story of the cat you’ve supported.

Little Harold has been socialising with the other cats in the home and has learned some valuable skills - including how to relax!😍

He will always be OTT when playing, but he’s learned to chill out and have some nice fuss too which is a huge improvement for him🐾
