Poor little Skye didn’t get a single adoption application after her Facebook debut earlier this week – not one💔🥹 It’s just not fair, because she’s the sweetest girl and truly deserves all the love in the world. Would you mind giving her a share and helping us find her people? 🙏

Skye is a beautiful 4-year-old Border Collie who’s coming into our care through no fault of her own. Her owner works very long hours and simply can’t give her the time and company she needs. She’s an absolute dote and would be so much happier in a home where someone is around for most of the day🏡💕

She can be a little shy when meeting new people at first, but once she knows you, she’s incredibly affectionate and full of love. Because she’s currently being left alone for long stretches, she’s developed some anxiety and can feel nervous when she meets other dogs on her walks. Ideally, Skye would love a quiet rural home where she won’t be bumping into lots of dogs, with a kind and patient adopter who’ll help her build her confidence🌿🐶

A calm, child-free and cat-free home would suit her best. A gentle doggie companion could really help her feel safe and settled – though it’s not essential.
If you’d love to give this beautiful soul the chance to blossom and have the happy life she truly deserves, please fill out our adoption form here:

MATILDA is having THE worst luck finding the right home 😥💔 we need your help to find her dream retirement home!!! 🩷💜

For those who don't remember, little old lady Staffy Matilda was found on the streets with a HUGE mass on her chest, terrible skin and very wobbly legs 💔 We got her straight to foster and her mass removed (thankfully it was nothing to worry about), and she has recovered really well 🩷💜

Then it was time to find her a home… she once had so many offers, but every potential home we followed up fell through or wasn’t quite right 💜 She was then ‘reserved’ by a lovely family and we thought she was ‘home’…. but that has recently fallen through due to a change in circumstances, so she’s back to square one …. but now with added urgency 😥💔

Her current foster family are going away soon and she absolutely CAN'T come to kennels- she would be so stressed ‼️ So…. We now only have just over ONE WEEK to find Matilda a home 😰💜🙏🩷

So folks, can you please please give her a share and help us find her forever home?? There HAS to be the right people out there 🙏

💜🩷🏡 MATILDA NEEDS 🏡🩷💜

🏡 A home where she won't be left for long - but we think she would be OK for shirt periods once settled. She cries initially but then does settle down and has a snooze 💜

🩷 A home where she can sleep in the bedroom - either a bungalow or with a family physically able to carry her upstairs (or even a stair lift!!) as she can't safely manage stairs, but she finds it very distressing being ‘shut away’ from people when she knows someone is around

🐶 She would much prefer to be an only dog - she can be a bit grumpy if dogs bother her

💜 A family who doesn't expect her to do long walks - she has wobbly legs and just enjoys short strolls to have a good sniff

❤️‍🩹 A family who are willing and able to support her as she gets older with her wobbly legs with adaptations to help keep her safely mobile and comfortable (non slip flooring, steps up to the sofa, she’ll benefit from pain relief as she gets older on vets advice… and lots more that we can advise on - we just want her to be comfortable, safe and pain free).

This may sound ‘picky’, but we HAVE to get it right for this special little lady 💜🩷 If you think you could be Matilda's forever person, please get in touch 🙏 And if not, please please give her a share and help us find them 💜🙏 🩷

💫Applications are still open for Ash

When we had an emergency intake of this big boy Ash we were not expecting such a well behaved gentleman.

Ash is a big lad at 51kg, but don't let his size fool you - he's a gentle giant. He walks very nicely on the lead (thank goodness!) and has clearly had good training, with solid basic manners in place.
He's a friendly, well-behaved boy and a tantastic example of his breed. Ash is a Cane Corso, a breed known for their loyalty and strong bond with their owners. Because of this, he will need an experienced owner who understands the breed and its needs.
Sadly, Ash's female owner, whom he was deeply bonded to, passed away last year. Through no fault of his own, Ash is now looking for a new loving home that can accommodate and commit to a large, loyal companion.
To ensure the best possible match, we ask all potential adopters to complete an application form so we can check eligibility before inviting you in. There is no obligation — it simply helps avoid disappointment and ensures we don't waste anyone's time by inviting people who may not be suitable.
Ash deserves stability, understanding, and a home where he can thrive.
Apply for Ash here.

Olaf has given up 💔😔 he’s waited so long, he no longer believes there is a life for him beyond this cage 💔💔💔

Olaf is a truly special boy with a gentle soul and a loving heart. Calm and sweet by nature, he also enjoys stretching his legs with a good run and having playful moments with other dogs. He strikes a lovely balance between relaxed companionship and fun-loving energy.

One thing that truly sets Olaf apart is how deeply he values connection. Human attention means the world to him, and when he sees people walking through the shelter, he happily rushes to the front of his kennel, tail wagging, hopeful for a kind word, a gentle touch, or simply to be seen. He wants nothing more than to belong.

Olaf’s unique, soulful eyes — one warm brown and the other a beautiful blend of blue and brown — give him an unforgettable expression, as if he’s always quietly asking for love. He’s also quite the athlete! Olaf has been known to jump from one kennel to another just to be closer to other dogs, showing both his agility and how much he struggles with being alone.

Because of his affectionate nature, Olaf would thrive in a home where he isn’t left by himself for long periods and where companionship is part of everyday life. He’s longing for a family or individual who will include him in their daily routines, offer him comfort and connection, and give him the forever home he’s been patiently waiting for.

Olaf does currently have some guarding tendencies so his adopter will need to have experience of dogs who guard food/toys and be prepared to work with him 🙏

He is currently in Cyprus looking for a home in UK. He will be neutered, vaccinated, chipped, treated for parasites, have his own pet passport and rescue back up from Saving Souls Animal Rescue.
