🐾❤️ PAWS FOR WALKS – URGENT CAT RESCUE APPEAL ❤️🐾

The house is sadly empty and, unfortunately, the owner will not be returning. This has left a number of beautiful cats and kittens behind, and Paws for Walks are stepping in to help rescue them.

We are slowly trapping the cats and kittens one by one, getting them somewhere safe, warm and cared for.

It isn’t an easy job, and it’s taking time, but we are working tirelessly to get every single one of them to safety. We won’t stop until they are all safe. ❤️

These wonderful cats deserve a chance at a proper forever home — somewhere warm, with full bellies, comfy beds and, most importantly, love. With the colder weather really starting to hit, we desperately want to get them out of the cold and into safety as quickly as possible.

🏡 WE NEED HOMES

If anyone can offer a loving forever home, particularly for one of the adult cats, please get in touch with us ASAP.

Fostering could also make an enormous difference and give one of these cats somewhere safe while we find their forever home.

🐾 SUPPLIES NEEDED

If you can help with any of the following, we’d be incredibly grateful:

• Cat food
• Flea treatment
• Worming treatment
• Beds and blankets
• Toys
• Scratching posts
• Carriers
• Any other cat essentials

💷 FUNDRAISING

We will shortly be setting up a GoFundMe to help support this rescue.

Any money raised will go towards helping foster carers and new owners with the initial costs involved in getting these cats healthy and ready for their forever homes — including flea protection, worming, neutering, veterinary checks and any necessary veterinary treatment.

We want to make sure that the people opening their homes to these cats aren’t faced with a huge immediate financial burden. The priority is simply getting these cats safe and giving them the chance they deserve.

This is a huge undertaking, but Paws for Walks won’t walk away from them. 🐾❤️

If you can offer a home, foster, supplies or financial support, please get in touch.

And please SHARE, SHARE, SHARE — the right person may be out there waiting to give one of these beautiful cats the forever home they desperately need.

❤️🐾 We won’t stop until they’re all safe.

🐾 A work day is never done at Paws for Walks… 🐾

Today took an unexpected turn when, whilst delving into the undergrowth, we found the tiniest little kittens — only around a day old. 🥺🐱

They were so incredibly small, fragile and vulnerable. There was no way we could just walk away and leave them.

So, for a little while, life had to wait. ❤️

The only thing that mattered was getting these precious little babies somewhere safe. After cuts, bruises and battling our way through the undergrowth, we finally got them to safety.

They’re now warm, fed and in safe hands, being carefully nursed and given all the love and care they need. ❤️

You never quite know what a day will bring, and today reminded us that sometimes the most important thing you can do is simply stop and help.

They’re safe now. They’re warm. They’re fed. And that’s all that matters. 🐾❤️

💔🐾 ASLAN — OUR BIG GENTLE SOUL 🐾💔

Some dogs come into your life as clients… and somehow, along the way, they become a little piece of your heart. ❤️

Aslan is one of those dogs.

From a tiny puppy in 2021, when he was first old enough to come out for walks, right through to the big, beautiful lad he is today, we’ve watched him grow, got to know his gorgeous personality and built a bond that is so incredibly special.

Aslan is quite simply one of the most gentle, beautiful souls you could ever meet. 🥹❤️ His cuddles, his lovely nature and that big handsome face are going to be missed more than words can say.

He’s now off to pastures new abroad, and although we genuinely wish him and his family every happiness and adventure in their new chapter, that doesn’t make saying goodbye any easier.

I’ve spent most of the evening crying knowing that our big lad is leaving. 😭💔

Four-legged friends have a funny way of sneaking into your heart without you even realising just how deeply they’ve got in there.

Aslan, thank you for 5 wonderful years of walks, cuddles, love and memories. 🐾❤️

You will be missed so, so much, big lad.

Go and enjoy your new adventures… but please don’t forget your Paws for Walks family. 🥹🐾❤️

Lots of love, big boy. Until we meet again. 🐕‍🦺

🐾 Paws for Walks

Walk done. Now — THE LOLLY. 🍦🐶

Sun’s out, tongues out — and Audrey has officially earned the BEST. POST-WALK. TREAT. EVER: a cold Calipo lolly! 🧊😎

She’s not just licking… she’s doing a very serious expert taste test. Verdict so far? 10/10 — would hoover the whole thing in 3 seconds flat. ⭐

Panting? Gone. Overheating? Vanished. Audrey’s happiness levels? MAXED OUT. 🚀

Moral of the story:
Walks are brilliant. But Calipo makes life worth living. — Audrey, probably 🐶💙
Don’t make her wait — give the lady her lolly! 😜

🚐🐾 BURK IS BACK! 🐾🚐

After what feels like forever, Burk is finally back where he belongs… out on the road with the Paws for Walks gang! 💜

We are so happy to have him back. The air conditioning is a game changer in this weather, and all the fully individual secure air con crates mean all our four-legged passengers can travel safely and comfortably once again.

A huge thank you to all our wonderful customers for your patience and understanding while Burk has been off the road. It’s been a long, stressful and expensive journey, but we are delighted to say he’s finally back where he belongs!

Here’s to many more safe journeys, wagging tails and happy adventures. 🐶💜

Literally doing a happy dance💃🏻

Unfortunately Balloo the big van has gone to van heaven so we will be working on a potential replacement for him. But in the meantime …….

Welcome back, Burk! 🚐🐾
