🌸 Spring is Here - Keep Your Pets Safe! 🐾
As flowers bloom and wildlife thrives, springtime is full of adventure for us and our furry friends! But warmer days also bring some hidden risks. Here’s how to enjoy the season safely with your pets:
🌿 Toxic Plants – Daffodils, tulips, foxgloves, lilies and more can be dangerous if ingested. Always keep an eye on your pets in gardens or wooded areas.
🐍 Wildlife Hazards – Adders, bees, and farm animals may pose a risk during walks. Stick to well-trodden paths and keep dogs on leads near livestock.
🪳 Fleas & Ticks – Warmer weather means more parasites. Check your pets regularly and make sure flea and tick prevention is up to date.
🍫 Easter Chocolate – Chocolate is toxic to pets. Keep treats out of reach and call your vet immediately if your pet accidentally indulges.
🤧 Spring Allergies – Pets can suffer from itchy skin, watery eyes, or sneezing too. Watch for signs and contact your vet if symptoms appear.
