Heatwave Cat Care Tips ☀️🐱

💧 Leave out plenty of fresh water and top it up regularly.
🧊 Add a few ice cubes to water bowls to keep them cooler for longer.
🏠 Close curtains and blinds during the hottest part of the day.
🌬️ Make sure your cat has access to cool, shaded areas to relax.
🍽️ Feed wet food where possible to help increase hydration.
🪮 Brush your cat regularly to remove excess fur.
🧊 Cooling mats, damp towels, or frozen water bottles wrapped in a towel can help keep them comfortable.
🚫 Try to keep outdoor adventures to the cooler mornings and evenings.

Always watch for signs of heatstroke, including panting, drooling, lethargy, or difficulty breathing, and contact your vet immediately if you’re concerned.

🐾 Meet Kaylee 🐾

When we first went for a meet and greet, Kaylee was feeling a little shy and stayed upstairs. Her owner even warned us that she’d probably hide away when we came back for our visits.

Well, Kaylee had other plans! 💕

From the very first visit, she came straight down to say hello, enjoy some playtime, and show us her chatty personality. She quickly became a confident little companion and loved keeping us company over the weekend.

It’s always so rewarding to see nervous pets warm up and feel comfortable in our care. We loved spending time with you, Kaylee! 🐱✨
