Did you know it’s Veterinary Nurse Awareness month?

We would like to celebrate and say a massive thank you to all our wonderful veterinary nurses who work at our Waterlooville practice.
Day in day out they dedicate their time to care for your pets and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

One of the many roles of our veterinary nurses is to carry out nurse clinic appointments, you can contact the practice to book in any of the following services with one of our lovely veterinary nurses: nail clips, a**l glands expressions, tick removals, HPC 6 month health checks, weight clinics, dematts, post operative checks, blood pressure measurements and much more!!!

All aboard with Hearing Dogs Gus who went for a little adventure on the train. Gus is in the final stages of his hearing dog training and did a super job keeping his focus on his volunteer trainer when they were out and about. Plus, he was the paw-fect passenger for the trip.

It's so important that Gus is comfortable using public transport and visiting new places so that when he meets his future deaf partner, Gus can confidently accompany them wherever they might go.

Ask us in practice how you can donate to our charity of the year, Hearing Dogs

Hypertension (high blood pressure) is common in older cats and dogs. Where symptoms are shown, they are more likely due to an underlying disease process such as kidney disease, hyperthyroidism or heart disease.

For some patients, hypertension doesn’t have any symptoms until organ damage occurs. For this reason, we recommend annual routine blood pressure checks for cats and dogs over 7 years old.
