Hiya Everyone, just a few important updates.

Client Forms
Due to new insurance I need everyone starting Monday 27th July to fill out the new up to date forms. I will be giving them out during your appointment to either fill in at the salon or take home and return on collection.

Price Increase
I just wanted to let you all know that from Tuesday 1st September there will be a small price increase to some of my grooming services.

Due to the rising cost of products, equipment, utilities and general living costs. Along with the fact I haven’t been paying myself fairly for the time and care I put into each groom for the past 2 years, I’ve unfortunately had to review my prices.

I always aim to keep my services as affordable as possible while still providing the highest standard of care and one-to-one attention your dogs deserve.

Loyalty Card Change
My loyalty discount are 25% off. This still offers a great saving while helping me better cover my time and costs, and continues to show my appreciation to all my loyal clients. However it is your responsibility to remember to bring your card to each appointment and to ask for a loyalty card if you do want one.

Late Payment Fee
Payment made in full requested within 24 hours after your dog’s Appointment. Payments made after this time will incur a £5 late fee per day till payment is made. Unfortunately I have had to put this in place after multiple late payments which is affecting delayed payments on bills and my wage.

Late pick up Fee
Unfortunately with a lot of delays in pick up im having to introduce a late pick up fee. I understand things crop up but lack of informing me will incur a £5 late fee if you are 15 mins late after the agreed pick up time. This will go up £1 per minute. After the 15mins i tend to work back to back and 1-2-1 meaning the following appointments suffer.

Thank you so much for your continued support and loyalty. I always try to be as accommodating as possible, but at the end of the day this is my business as well as my passion, and I need to make sure I’m running it sustainably.

After careful consideration, I have decided to introduce a new policy regarding hot weather and grooming appointments. Starting today.

Previously, I left the decision up to owners as to whether they wanted to attend their appointment during hot weather. However, after speaking with other professional dog groomers and spending many hours researching the risks, I no longer feel this is the safest approach.

Going forward, if the outside temperature is above 28°C, or if the salon reaches 26°C, the salon will close and any affected appointments will be rescheduled.

As you all know, your dog’s safety and welfare will always be my number one priority. While I understand that regular grooming is important for their wellbeing, if your dog is kept on a regular grooming schedule, delaying their appointment by a few days will not cause any harm.

I appreciate that this may be inconvenient, and I sincerely thank you for your understanding and support. My priority is to ensure that every dog stays safe, At the end of the day, it’s always better to be safe than sorry. I’d much rather rearrange an appointment than risk a dog becoming unwell due to risk of heat-related illness.

Hello, just a quick update

I will be returning back to work on Monday 25th May, however I will only be offering the following services initially:
• Bath & drys
• Teeth cleaning or nail trims
• Tidy ups or clip-only appointments (no baths)

From Monday 8th June, I will be returning to full grooms and all services.

I’m slowly building myself back up and easing into work, as I’ve soon realised that even though I may feel back to full health, my body still isn’t quite there yet. I don’t want to risk setting myself back and being off any longer than needed.

I’m so grateful for all my amazing clients who have shown so much love, care, support, and understanding during this time. I genuinely so blessed to have you all and I have missed you all and of course your pooches too.

I also want to give a huge shoutout to Jess (Spuddymoo’s Grooming) an amazing groomer and my best friend. who has helped me so much during my time off and came into the salon to help not only me, but my clients too. I’m beyond grateful for everything you’ve done.

Hiya Everyone. Happy Monday.🧡

Thank you all so much for your messages and support over the past few days, it really means a lot. I’m starting to feel more like myself now that I’ve had a good rest over the weekend, so I’ll be working through replies today.

Just a quick update: the laparoscopy surgery went really well with no complications. They did however find endometriosis, but thankfully they were able to remove it all.

Recovery time is expected to be around 4–6 weeks so it’s longer than I was hoping for.
For now, I’m going to focus on resting this week and see how things progress before thinking about a return date. So far, recovery is going really well, but I don’t want to rush back too soon as much as I love my job and my clients I don’t want to risk setting myself back and having to have longer off in the long run.

Hi everyone,

I just wanted to let you all know that I’ll be having surgery on Friday 24th April and will need to take some time off work.
I understand this is short notice I have only just found out today!

At the moment, I can’t give an exact timeframe for how long I’ll be away, as it will depend on what they find/do during the procedure. I’ve been advised that recovery could take anywhere between 3 to 8 weeks.

As soon as I know more about my recovery time, which should be on the day of the surgery , I’ll update you all here with a clearer return date.

In the meantime, please bear with me while I do my best to rearrange appointments and fit in as many of you as possible before my surgery.
