PAGE P*EPS… TODAY’S PET TAXI ADVENTURE HAS TAKEN ME TO THE OTHER SIDE OF WEST YORKSHIRE! 🚕💨

Now, before the geography police arrive… 🚔🤣

In the video, I said KNARESBOROUGH!

We’re actually in KEIGHLEY! 😂

Apparently, my sat nav knows where I am, but my mouth has decided to go on a completely different holiday! 🗺️🤣

Anyway, we’ve got a gorgeous HUSKY on board! 🐺❤️

And unfortunately, this handsome fella isn’t feeling his usual self. 🥺

Normally, Huskies have enough energy to power a small village, argue with the neighbours AND audition for Britain’s Got Talent! 🎤🤣

But today, our boy’s a little under the weather.

So the mission?

COLLECT A WEE SAMPLE! 💦🧪

Sounds simple, doesn’t it?

OH, YOU BEAUTIFUL, INNOCENT PEOPLE! 🤣

And there’s every chance this operation ends with me having YELLOW HANDS! 🟡🖐️😂

But jokes aside, we’re getting that sample to the vets so they can investigate why our handsome boy isn’t feeling himself. 🩺❤️

🚨🐶❤️ HOOMAN HAVING A KIDNEY TRANSPLANT… BUT DOGGO NEEDS THE DOCTORS TOO! 🏥🐾

PAGE P*EPS… TODAY’S PET TAXI ADVENTURE IS A LITTLE BIT DIFFERENT! ❤️

Imagine being in hospital having a KIDNEY TRANSPLANT, with another EIGHT WEEKS of isolation ahead of you! 🥺❤️

And then your beloved little doggo becomes poorly!

YOU CAN’T BE IN TWO PLACES AT ONCE… OR CAN YOU?! 🚕🐾💨

ENTER PETS 2 PLACES! 😎

With his hooman keeping in touch by phone throughout, I collected this gorgeous little fella from a friend’s house, where he’s being lovingly looked after. ❤️

Now, normally this little chap is bouncing around like a GRASSHOPPER ON RED BULL! 🦗🤣

But today?

Not himself at all. 😢

🤢 Being sick!
💩 Diarrhoea!
😴 Very lethargic!
🐶 Not his usual cheeky self!

So off we went to the wonderful CHANTRY VETS! 🩺❤️

And once again, the veterinary team were absolutely fantastic! 👏

Temperature? BANG ON! 🌡️

Initial checks? REASSURING! ❤️

He received an injection and medication to help settle his tummy, but because he’s been so unlike himself, further investigations were needed.

Blood tests were taken, and we’re expecting the results on FRIDAY. 🤞

Fingers crossed his kidney and liver results, along with everything else, come back looking good! ❤️🐾

Because let’s face it…

NOBODY WANTS THEIR BACK END RESEMBLING A DROPPED CURRY ON A SATURDAY NIGHT! 🍛💩🤣

But PAGE P*EPS… can we also appreciate something VERY IMPORTANT?!

CHECK OUT THAT JUMPER! 🧥😍

The temperature’s dropping, but this little fella has arrived dressed for the occasion!

🚨🐶💛 NERVOUS DOG?! SOMEONE FORGOT TO TELL THE DOG! 🤣❤️

PAGE P*EPS… TODAY’S PET TAXI ADVENTURE INVOLVES A DACHSHUND, A YELLOW NERVOUS HARNESS AND ME BEING USED AS A HUMAN CLIMBING FRAME! 😂🐾

Now, this gorgeous little sausage is wearing his yellow harness because he can be nervous around people. 💛

And quite rightly, we respect that!

But apparently, he’s decided I’m his LONG-LOST BEST MATE! 🤣

There I am, sitting on the vet’s floor, minding my own business…

AND SUDDENLY I’M MOUNT EVEREST! 🏔️😂

Climbing all over me! Kisses everywhere! 💋🐶

🐶💭 “CHRIS! HOLD STILL! I’M GOING FOR THE SUMMIT!” 🤣

Mate, you’re a Dachshund, not Bear Grylls! 😂

But seriously, seeing a nervous dog feel this comfortable around me is absolutely beautiful. ❤️

THAT TRUST MEANS EVERYTHING! 🥹🐾

Now, our little adventurer is currently on pain relief for his lower back and knee.

And he’s got another mission ahead…

OPERATION SAUSAGE SLIMDOWN! 🌭💪

He’s been given THREE MONTHS to lose weight ahead of his planned operation.

And here’s a little useful vet advice! 🩺

🐾 Gradual weight loss is best, usually around 1–2% of body weight weekly when appropriate and supervised by a vet.

🥣 Weigh food portions and count those sneaky treats!

🍗 Keep protein and nutrition balanced with a suitable complete diet.

🚶 Exercise must be gentle and vet-approved, especially with a painful back and knee.

⚖️ Regular weigh-ins help keep everything on track!

NO CRASH DIETS AND NO SAUSAGE BOOT CAMPS! 🤣

🐶💭 “CHRIS! THREE MONTHS WITHOUT EXTRA BISCUITS?! I’M CONTACTING MY SOLICITOR!” 😂

But losing excess weight can help reduce pressure on those little joints and support his recovery. ❤️

His vet will guide the plan so he loses fat without losing important muscle.

And hopefully, in three months, he’ll be ready for the next stage of treatment! 🤞🐾

For now, he’s still handing out kisses like they’re going out of fashion! 💋

THIS MORNING, THE PHONE RANG.

EMERGENCY CALLOUT. DOG COLLAPSED. 🚨

I arrived to find a poor girl lying on the kitchen floor, blood around her muzzle. 💔🐶

Outside? CHAOS.

Inside? PANIC.

Neighbours, police, worried people, emotions running high.

But everybody wanted one thing…

FOR THIS LITTLE GIRL TO BE OKAY. ❤️

When an animal needs help, my priority is simple.

GET HER TO THE VETS. SAFELY. QUICKLY. CALMLY. 💪🚕

Out came the pet stretcher.

Our brave girl was carefully lifted and transported to Vets for Pets in Birstall for emergency care. 🐾🚨

And PAGE P*EPS…

THE STAFF THERE… WOW. JUST WOW! ❤️👏

You hear me talking about them in the video, and I mean every word.

THESE PEOPLE ABSOLUTELY ROCK! ❤️

While everything around them feels like chaos, they’re doing what they do best.

Caring. Helping. Giving animals every chance they can. 🩺❤️

NOT ALL HEROES WEAR CAPES. SOME WEAR SCRUBS. 🥹👏

A MASSIVE thank you to all the wonderful vets I work closely with across West Yorkshire.

🚨🐶🦴 DAISY’S GOT A NEW LEG UPGRADE… AND I’VE GOT A CHOCOLATE ADDICTION! 🤣🍫

Meet the gorgeous DAISY! ❤️

Our brave little superstar has recently undergone a MASSIVE operation to repair her cruciate ligament! 🩺🐶

We’re talking serious knee surgery, with a metal plate helping stabilise the bone!

BASICALLY, DAISY’S HAD MORE ENGINEERING WORK THAN THE M62! 🤣🔧

🐶💭 “CHRIS! I’VE HAD MY LEG FIXED, NOT BEEN SENT TO A CAR BODY SHOP!” 😂

Today was her first post-op check at Chantry Vets! ❤️

And the brilliant news?

SHE’S DOING ABSOLUTELY AMAZINGLY! 🥳👏

She’s been resting all weekend with very little movement.

Unfortunately, nobody’s told Daisy she’s supposed to be taking it easy!

🐶💭 “CHRIS! I’VE BEEN ON BED REST FOR THREE DAYS! I’VE GOT 47 ZOOMIES STORED UP!” 🤣💨

Her back leg is still bruised and swollen, particularly lower down, so it’s all about careful recovery, cold packs and following the vet’s advice. ❤️‍🩹

A MASSIVE shout-out to the wonderful team at Chantry Vets for looking after Daisy and supporting her humans and me! 👏❤️

NOW… HERE’S WHERE THINGS GET EMOTIONAL! 🥹

Daisy’s lovely humans gave me a beautiful thank-you card for always being there when they need me.

Honestly, that means the world. ❤️

AND THEN THEY GAVE ME POSH CHOCOLATES! 🍫😍

I promised myself ONE A DAY!

A sensible little treat!

Well…

THAT PLAN LASTED ABOUT SEVEN MINUTES! 🤣

We’re now on TWO A DAY!

At this rate, Daisy will finish her rehabilitation before I finish negotiating with the chocolate box! 😂🍫

Now, here’s something absolutely amazing…

I’VE SEEN THIS BEAUTIFUL GIRL ONCE A YEAR FOR THREE YEARS! 🥹

ONCE A YEAR!

I’ve had relationships with more contact than that! 🤣

But do you know what?

THAT’S EXACTLY HOW I LIKE IT! ❤️

Because it means she’s been healthy, happy and living her very best doggy life! 🐾

And now she’s 12 YEARS YOUNG! 🎂🥳

TWELVE!

Still going strong, still acting like a puppy, and still carrying enough fluff to insulate a three-bedroom semi! 🤣

Honestly, when she jumped on board, I thought somebody had delivered a sofa with legs! 🛋️😂

So there I am, in the back of the pet taxi, getting my annual cuddle allowance!

I disappeared into the fur!

Off we went to Metro Pets in Wakefield, where our gorgeous girl was in good hands! 🩺🐾

Today I helped a lovely elderly gentleman who’s having a really tough time.

Five years ago, he lost a leg in an accident. Now he’s facing the early stages of Alzheimer’s, with his memory sadly deteriorating. ❤️

And who’s always there for him?

HIS CAT! 🐈❤️

His best mate. His companion. His little reason to smile.

Well… I say LITTLE…

THIS CAT’S BUILT LIKE A WARDROBE! 🤣

Today, His Royal Fluffiness needed his annual MOT!

🩺 Health check

🐈💭 “CHRIS! I’VE COME FOR A SERVICE, NOT FOUR NEW TYRES AND A CAMBELT!” 🤣

His lovely human couldn’t take him himself.

SO THAT’S WHERE I COME IN! 🚕💪

One cat collected, one vet appointment and one very important mission…

Anyway, our little four-legged bodybuilder was back on board for EYE SURGERY! 👀❤️

Now, Milo had a few things to say about that…

At this rate, he’ll be asking for a personal trainer, a dressing room and his own Netflix documentary! 😂

THE OPERATION WENT BRILLIANTLY! 🥳❤️

Big Milo is now safely back home, reunited with his family and furry siblings, receiving enough cuddles to power a small village! 🥹🐾

This gorgeous Bulldog is an absolute CUDDLE MONSTER! 🥹❤️

He’s recently had spinal surgery, so today we were heading back to the vets for his check-up. 🩺🐶

Now, apparently, this little fella can be a bit reactive when the vets start poking and prodding him!

🐶💭 “EXCUSE ME, DOCTOR! I DIDN’T BOOK THE FULL BODY MOT!” 🤣

But with me?

BEST MATES FROM THE FIRST SECOND! ❤️

No arguments. No complaints. Just kisses!

And MORE KISSES! 💋💋💋

Honestly, I thought I was running a pet taxi, not FIRST DATES FOR BULLDOGS! 🤣

I’ve had fewer kisses on Valentine’s Day! 🤣❤️

Because of his recent spinal operation, I gently lifted our little superstar into the pet taxi, making sure he was comfortable and properly supported. 🐾

And the brilliant news?

HIS CHECK-UP WENT REALLY WELL! 🥳👏

He’s recovering better than expected, and the feeding tube he’d had around his neck has now been removed! ❤️‍🩹

What a little fighter! 💪🐶

Mind you, after all those kisses, I think I need a check-up myself…

I’VE BEEN LICKED SO MUCH I’M PRACTICALLY WATERPROOF! 🤣💦

Unfortunately, our four-legged heavyweight has come home with a suspicious tooth-shaped hole on top of his head! 😳🦷

A SHARK BITE?! 🦈

Possibly! Although what a shark was doing wandering around West Yorkshire is anybody’s guess! 🤣

Whatever caused it, the wound became infected, leaving a nasty swelling above his eye. ❤️‍🩹

So I was called in for OPERATION CATCH THE FURRY FUGITIVE! 🚕🐈

Now, catching an injured fighting cat isn’t like picking up a cuddly kitten!

This lad’s basically WOLVERINE IN A FUR COAT! 🐾💥

Ten claws, zero patience and a face that says…

🐱💭 “COME ANY CLOSER, CHRIS, AND YOU’LL NEED YOUR OWN VET!” 🤣

But no wrestling match required! We carefully got our little champion safely on board without making his injury worse. ❤️

Off to the vets, onto the examination table, and just look at that lump in the video! 😳

Medication issued, treatment underway, and hopefully that swelling will soon settle down. 🩺🐾

Meanwhile, our little boxer is probably already planning his comeback…

🐱💭 “CHRIS, BOOK ME A REMATCH! THAT TABBY FROM NUMBER 42 STILL OWES ME THREE DREAMIES!” 🥊🤣

Seriously though, he’s a brave little fella, and we’re wishing him a speedy recovery! ❤️

And PAGE P*EPS, if you’ve got a nervous, reactive or particularly SPICY CAT that needs safely transporting to the vets…
