Its been a busy few days down at Newton Ferrers Equus

🏇 Pony club camp 2026 🏇

Its been a fun but hot few days at NFE with 25 of our pony club members 🤩
We did gymkhanas, jumping, hacking, exam training and fun flat work lessons, and that was just for the riding!

Riders rode horses they wouldn't usually ride and smashed it 🙌

The horses as per gave it 100% and definitely deserve their day off tomorrow! Ernie was absolutely hoof perfect for his first time doing camp! Even cantered around the school ba****ck 🎉 Henry joined in pony club too, so really thrilled with him 🤩 Marble was on his best behaviour even winning one of the gymkhanas 🤣 Joey decided jumping was really fun and he now classes himself as a show jumper 😎 but as usual they all exceeded expectations and I couldn't be happier 💙

And big big shout out to the coaches and grooms!! You guys are the absolute best, making sure riders had a good time and that the horses were happy makes for a much easier few days 🫶

And rest 😴

Fabulous weather for the SJ Clinic at Home Farms Showground today. Everyone was full of smiles and keen to learn and did so well - a lovely group of people and ponies/horses with everyone showing good progress and development 👏. Thanks for coming along 😊
