Daily/weekly or ad-hoc dog walking service also offered as well as animal day care & drop ins. I’m Lauren. I am the loving owner of a 6-year-old black lab called Bailey, as well as owning chickens and ducks. I grew up with dogs and cats as well as rabbits and guinea pigs. I frequently look after dogs for family and friends. I have even looked after dogs prior to a short notice overseas relocation,

seeing to various vet appointments and transportation arrangements. I am now in a position where I can do this full time, as I am currently looking at a career change following redundancy. I am based in the Petersfield (Hampshire) area with The South Downs literally on my door step. I have a pet friendly house and garden space and enjoy going out on dog walks. The garden is secure. There is permanent access from the house to the garden, and the surrounding fields. I have looked after various breeds of dogs in the past, ranging from puppy to senior ages. Any dog that is in the home is treated like one of the family, and given the love, care and attention it needs. I have also completed a Dog First Aid course.

⭐ Annual Licence Inspection ⭐

On Wednesday I had my annual home boarding licence inspection. Whilst answering all the questions asked of me, showing and demonstrating best practice and compliance to the Animal Welfare Inspector, Bailey took it upon himself to demonstrate just how relaxing it was here for himself and others. Fast asleep on his back cuddled up with two of his pals on the sofa! - taking it all in his stride 🤣.

All passed with flying colours and celebrated with a dog walk and a cream tea for me and a dear friend on her birthday ⭐

As the days get longer and the blue skies finally make an appearance (currently writing this sheltering from the hailstorm) there’s nothing better than seeing the dogs make the most of every adventure. From splashing through the water to racing across open fields with their friends, every walk is packed with energy, fun, and plenty of wagging tails. Watching their confidence grow, friendships form, and personalities shine is one of the best parts of what I do. Whether it’s a calm paddle in the stream or a full-speed zoomie session, every dog gets the space, care, and attention they deserve while enjoying a safe and stimulating environment.

Behind the scenes, I’ve also been preparing for my upcoming annual inspection — an important part of making sure I continue to provide the highest standards of care for every dog that stays or walks with me. From safety checks and cleanliness to enrichment and daily routines, every detail matters. It’s a great opportunity to reflect on the amazing dogs and owners who trust me throughout the year, and to keep improving everything I do. I can’t wait for another season filled with (less) muddy paws, happy faces, and plenty more outdoor adventures. EHDC Licence 42155.

March and April have been so busy, I forgot to post the last vid! The media manager is now stacked up with material sent to him by my personal editor/producer 🤣.

Busy with drop ins and lunchtime walks this week which I find a delight, to see the dogs react with excitement when I pick them up. Knowing they will be dog tired for the rest of the afternoon always makes me smile 😊

British Summer time is here 😊. Slowly using the wellies less and less!

With such uncertainty to some holidays at the moment I am doing everything I can to try and amend holidays times in the diary for some! Juggling the calendar has been a little tricky but also freed up some space for boarding and day care during the summer months so always worth an ask - please note this is for existing customers only 😉.

No video today just a picture of a new dog walk client that I had the pleasure walking for the first time today!

It’s a long video but well worth a watch and will ease you nicely into the weekend where hopefully you will be able to enjoy some of this sunshine!

You see from the video that whether your dog is a sea swimmer, a fox poo roller, a sofa surfer or just plain nuts - we love them all.

Hate Mondays?……..Nope!

I’m not sure any of these do either (not all pictures were taken on a Monday)

I may work 7 days a week but I love what I do, you will see from the video all the different enrichments every dog has. Whilst it may just look like fun and games there is actually a detailed plan for it all, catering for your dog’s needs and abilities. This is just one of the differences between a licensed boarder and one that isn’t. Have confidence with who you leave your family member with!!

2 weeks ago today was international volunteers day, this also coincided with the start of a little break away I managed to grab before the holiday boarders started. I love and appreciate all the support I get from my family and friends to make this work.

Today I’ve managed to get a little get together with everyone so this is my staff Xmas do. House full of friends, family, furry things and fun.

This is what it is all about, Merry Christmas everyone

Thank you to James for the latest video of the boys and girls I walked, boarded and dropped in on a few weeks ago.

I would also like to thank those who have helped out whilst I’ve been away this week taking some R&R with R’n’B - Scotland never fails for nature watching, great walks and coffee and cake. We survived the 101mph winds in our lodge, saw the northern lights and an otter fishing in a loch!

Home now and actually looking forward to getting back to work 😉.

Last week there were 16 different breeds, some were close but not right 😉
