Once again, Betsy's is on the hunt for some temporary staff! We need some help in the run up to Christmas so we are looking for some who...

✅ Is friendly, approachable with a strong work ethic. A team player who likes to get involved and can take instruction well.

✅ Is physically able and fit, any pre-existing health conditions must be communicated.

✅ Can work in a small, tight knit team and be versatile in their role. You may be packing an order and then be switched to sleeving the product.

✅ Will be able to comfortably carry up to 20kg. Either from picking, to packing, or when getting stock out for production.

✅ Will be okay with working in our freezer from time to time (-20 degrees!)

✅ Is flexible within their rota and can be accommodating to our unique, but temporary, position.

This week I have been off on my travels… again! Back to Wales for another week off with my two young girls.

The team have had absolutely everything thrown at them this week whilst I’ve been away (and they’ve also been short staffed!!) and have handled it like absolute troopers.

Team; I’d be lost without you. Can we all please give Kelly, Kirstie, Sarah, Evie and Lilly our gratitude and tell them what an amazing job they’ve done! ❤️👏🏻

Nope, we're really not. And it's our own fault.

We were really excited to be able to offer a new product, Offal Free Rabbit. The first batch that came in was beautiful, whole (but gutted) Rabbit. We tested this and got it on the shelves.

We then purchased our second pallet from the same supplier and ordered the same product. When this arrived, we noticed it wasn't quite the same, but were assured it was the same product just formatted slightly different.

I made the decision to run the product but in hindsight I probably shouldn't have. Please be rest assured, there is nothing wrong with the product, it's safe to feed, it's still passed all our checks and has passed testing.

BUT! I won't lie, the texture isn't great. It's not something I am overly happy with post production. We have had two customers also express this concern and that's enough for me to take action.

Therefore I have decided to reduce the price of the rabbit on the website until we get some material in that we are happy with.

In true Betsy's fashion we want to be open and transparent with you so if you have any questions please ask below.

Being a business owner is more than just building a brand.

It’s sustaining it.

It’s podcasts, and exhibitions, and customer service.
It’s invoices, stock checks, budgeting, forecasts.

From the mundane tasks, to the meaty tasks (no pun intended 😏). I’m here for it. And I am SO proud of what I have built, what I’ve learned, what I offer, and the support you guys give me.
