Merrylegs will not see a healthy animal put to sleep and will do our best to nurse back to health any animal we can. Please see the rest of out page for our recent rescue stories,

Update on this little boy after his day at Sunnyside Veterinary Clinic to investigate his lameness ,so his xraysbhave shown that at some point in his little life Luke has had orthopaedic work done on his left elbow !!
Fairly big complex job! The vets are going to go over the X-rays again to make sure all is as it should be and what the next move is as the joint is very very arthritic also , hopefully no surgery and will be down to management etc which I can do ,this will explain why even with al the pain meds he was still showing lameness but this could also be secondary muscle damage ? Nerve?at the moment we are not sure but least we have a plan !well for that bit anyway !his ear that shad the surgery is healing beautifully but his other ear is absolutely awful so his next big surgery is booked for the 12 th ! Come on little guy we will get you sorted you will get to enjoy some sort of quality of life I promise !!

Yea I still get cussed and swore at but that’s fine lol
