THROWBACK THURSDAY

Looking back on last week and what a week it was!

Saturday was extra special, as I had the privilege of accompanying the very handsome Brodie to a wedding, where he had the important responsibility of being the ring bearer. He did a fantastic job and made us all proud.

Thursday brought some incredible sights—a funnel cloud (or possibly a tornado), two deer crossing right in front of us, and a bird of prey overhead.

Friday its Ruby world we just live in it.

A week of memorable moments, from nature’s surprises to a very special celebration.

A year ago I took a huge leap starting this business, and I’m so proud of how far it has come already.

Thank you to every single person who has trusted me with their pets, supported my business, recommended me, or followed along on this journey. Your support means more than you know ❤️

This past year has brought so many lovely dogs, cats, adventures, and memories from torrential rain, snow, wind to sunshine, flowers and beautiful views to everything inbetween that Scottish weather wanted to throw my way.
I have already learned so much and still have so much to learn — and I can’t wait to see what the next year brings 🐾

With all the lovely warm weather we’re meant to be getting, I thought I’d put out a little temperature reminder ☀️🐾

On days where temperatures reach around 20°-23°, I always try to choose walks with plenty of shade and running water, while making sure the dogs aren’t overdoing it. We take lots of breaks and time to cool down 🌲🌊

On hotter days, if you’re ever unsure, it’s always safer to skip the walk and swap it for some enrichment at home instead. If possible, earlier walks are always best too — before 10am is usually what I aim for 🐶
