It’s now the season of Love Island: Sheep edition, so we’d like to apologise in advance for any sights you may see if the sheep are in the field next door.

They don’t care who’s watching and they don’t believe in getting to know each other first either.

This photo shows them queuing up for their turn moments after their Teaser tup arrives in the ‘villa’ 🫣😂

A teaser is a vasectomised Ram that goes in a couple of weeks before the main Rams go in. It’s to help get the ewes in the mood and bring them into season, so they will all get pregnant closer together and shorten the lambing window.

But as usual, many of the ewes next door didn’t need teasing!😂

The trusty standard issue, relatively cheap rope, is already proving to be more hard wearing and tougher than the ‘extremely tough’ more expensive dog toys on the market that we’ve tried over the year!

To ‘tough dog toy’ businesses, feel free to get in touch if you’d like to use our zip wire as a test centre… your product will certainly be put through its paces before proceeding to production! 😂

Look at these fab photos sent in from one of our customers! They get those big brains and powerful noses working extra hard during their visits, finding hidden treats around the trees.

They make sure nothing is left, and sleep very well after!

Playing ‘find it’ is a brilliant game to play with your dog, providing great enrichment for them.

We play “find it” with our dogs using a ball…. And it tires them out more than throwing one.

Does anyone else play “find it”?

The car park has had some TLC tonight. We’ve installed gravel grids by the exit, which should help keep the stone in place when you pull off, as well as when the months of heavy rain arrive ☺️

No more wheel spins or puddle patches in the car park now 💪🤩

A little birthday present for Wagging Woods!

The infamous Zip Wire lasted a whole year, and the day after its birthday, finally gave in and was hanging by a thread last night!

Thankfully it held out til the replacement arrived, so that was tonight’s added job in the rain.

And Autumn 🍂 is officially here! We woke to a frost first thing this morning in places, and a familiar chill in the air today. Now it feels like October.

Won’t be long before we have an orange & brown carpet of leaves for your dogs to enjoy rustling through.

Brunel’s been coming to us since we opened, and the zip wire is still his favourite! He has now earned himself the official title of “chief toy tester” - congratulations Brunel and thanks for your services 🙌😂❤️

It’s been a whole year since we opened today!🥳…. And what an incredible year it has been.

We’ve been overjoyed with how many of you have visited Wagging Woods and how many wagging tails have absolutely loved it!

Thank you for all the incredible support, lovely messages, fab reviews and great photos over the year! It means a lot.

This all started with our own need for a secure field, courtesy of our Houdini JRT, and whilst it’s a lot of work, you’ve made it all worthwhile. So THANK YOU!🥰

Here’s to another year of Wagging Woods and please keep your photos coming… we love seeing them!
