Murphy is a timid little fella until you let him loose in the garden where he runs riot with Monty. He loves to have a sing/yodle on walks and loves beimng fussed when at home.

Ollie

When Ollie first arrived he was very nervous and spent some time calling for his mother by the kitchen door but, with lots of fussing and way too many treats, he calmed down and spent some time in Rachael's lap. When we arrived back from our walk, he was as happy as Larry - whoever Larry is. He's a lovely boy and is now happy running around the garden with Monty as soon as he arrives.

At Monty’s Mutts, we are fully licensed as a home dog boarding business and take our responsibilities incredibly seriously.

Being licensed means we have to meet specific standards around the care, safety and welfare of the dogs staying with us, and our premises are assessed to ensure they are suitable.

Not everyone offering dog boarding is licensed. If a business is operating without the required licence, they may not have the same regulatory checks and requirements in place — and you should always check what insurance and licensing they have before booking.

So we have two Teddys now, referred to as Big Ted and Little Ted (Playschool for those old enough to remember). He’s a bear of a dog with a boisterous personailty and angelic face. A typical retriever in that he wants to meet everyone we see on our walks which doubles the conversations I have whilst walking so really good for socialising.

As you expect from a working lab, Chardee has a loving personality and brought a wonderful energy to the house. We learnt quite early on that she loves a stick, and if she finds one, good luck getting it off her . We can’t wait to have her back for her next visit. 🐕
