Huge thank you to the absolute legend Alec Miles for such a brilliant and knowledgeable demo! ❤️👏
Beautiful Marl is a bit of a loading legend… unfortunately for all the wrong reasons 😂 A few weeks ago after our Saddle Up & Survive beach ride, the little bu**er decided he was NOT going home. After HOURS of trying, Alex and Jackie actually had to go back at night to rescue Marl and his owner from the beach! 😂🌙🚛

Fast forward to today… within about 40 minutes, Marl was calmly walking in and out of the trailer over and over again like he’d never had a problem in his life! 🤯😂 His owner’s face was absolutely priceless. ❤️

Such a calm, patient session — no force, no drama, just knowledge and understanding the horse.

If you’ve got a horse who suddenly forgets how trailers work 😂 we honestly couldn’t recommend Alec enough. We’re so lucky to have him at Manor more regularly now! ❤️🐴

Where do we even start with this woman? 😂

Jackie isn’t just our coach at Manor. She’s our friend, our biggest supporter, our cheerleader, our shoulder to cry on, our giver of much-needed kicks up the arse and, quite honestly, one of the best humans you could ever have in your corner. ❤️

She’s been there through the good days, the bad days, the crazy days and the full-on “WHAT THE HELL ARE WE DOING?!” Manor days… and somehow she keeps coming back. 😂🐴

She has a heart of absolute gold. She gives so much of herself to everyone around her, believes in people when they’ve stopped believing in themselves and has a very special way of turning “I can’t do this” into “Oh bloody hell… I actually did it!” 😂

Behind all the laughs, inappropriate conversations, horse chaos and questionable life decisions is someone we genuinely couldn’t imagine Manor without.

Jackie, thank you for every lesson, every laugh, every hug, every pep talk, every bit of support and every time you’ve stood beside us when we needed you most.

🧹 General yard help — basically people who see chaos and think, “Yep, I can work with this.”

Horse experience is preferred for yard duties, but most importantly you need to be reliable, hardworking, happy to get filthy and not emotionally affected by wheelbarrows full of poo.

One of our amazing livery is leaving Manor, and we are genuinely so sad to see them go. 😭❤️

When someone has been with us for a while, they’re never just a livery. They become part of the Manor family — part of the laughs, the chaos, the competitions, the questionable decisions and the conversations that should NEVER leave the yard. 😂
