WHEN LASER THERAPY BECOMES CLOSE TO HOME โค๏ธ๐พ
This week, the use of Class 4 laser therapy became very personal for me.๐ถ
My beautiful 12-year-old GSD, Hennessey, suddenly became unable to walk properly on his hind legs after a long car journey. My heart sank. ๐
After speaking with my vet, we believed he had a trapped nerve affecting his spine.
Once we were home, I started using my Class 4 laser over his spinal area, treating him twice a day.
And then came the moment I was hoping forโฆ ๐
Within the first 24 hours, Hennessey was able to
support his backend again. ๐พ
Seeing that improvement in my own dog was incredibly emotional. As a Registered Veterinary Nurse of over 20 years, I know how worrying it can be when something suddenly happens to your pet โ but when it's your own dog, the emotions are very different.๐ข
It also reminded me exactly why I do what I do with Gem Animal Health.
I understand the worry, the sleepless nights, the constant checking and the hope that your beloved pet will feel better.
When I treat your pets, I don't just see a patient โ I understand how much they mean to you. โค๏ธ
Hennessey is still being monitored closely, and I'm so grateful for the improvement we've seen so far.
Class 4 laser therapy can be used alongside veterinary care to help support pain management, reduce inflammation and promote healing.
If your pet is struggling with pain, mobility or recovery, please speak to your vet about whether laser therapy could be appropriate for them.
