Warning: canicross has side effects.

You start because you think your dog might enjoy running.

Then somehow you realise you need a harness.
Then a belt.
Then a bungee line.
Then another harness because obviously you need more than one.

You start discussing trail conditions with people you've only just met.
You willingly get up at silly o'clock on a Sunday.
You discover that mud is no longer a reason to cancel plans.

And somewhere along the way…
.. you find your people.

That's one of our favourite things about dog-powered sports

It's about giving your dog the chance to do what they love…

…and seeing what you've got when they decide to properly do it 😏

SHORT course or LONG course.

Run it SOLO if that's your thing...
.. or grab a teammate and share the questionable decision-making.

Fast dogs.
Steady dogs.
Big dogs.
Small dogs.

And humans doing their best to keep up.

You can come to race.

You can come to challenge yourself.

You can absolutely come determined to beat your mate.

But you don't need to be fast.

You don't need a particular breed of dog.

And you don't need to look like you belong on the start line.
