A message from our Vet Zara as she starts on her next adventure of a PHD. We are already missing her so much but are wishing her all of the luck in the world with her PHD.
"After a wonderful chapter at Orchard Vets, I've said my fond farewells last month to many of my lovely clients and patients, as I take my next step in my career and begin studying for a PhD.
It is always a pleasure and a privilege to be entrusted with the care of someone's beloved companion, and throughout my career there have been many who have left their paw, claw, and hoof-prints on my heart. Four such companions included here - Rupert, Elly, Chaos, and Mia - are but a handful of those I have had the pleasure of getting to know during my time at Orchard, through both the challenging times and the good. I'm also very lucky to have been surrounded by wonderful people over the past few years, and I'll miss so many familiar faces, as well as all those conversations about what made each of pet that passed through the consulting room doors so unique and special.
Now it's time for the next adventure, taking my love of learning and teaching to the next level. I have been to the 'back to school' sales for the first time in a VERY long time (much longer than I care to write here 😂), and am looking forward immensely to what the future may bring.
Thank you to each and every one who has been a part of my time at Orchard. I wish all my colleagues, staff and of course all the animals, all the very best, and I hope from time to time still to see you all again.
