There is nothing quite like autumn 🍂
the colours, the crisp morning air, and cosy vibes! While the cats might not be so keen with the wetter weather, The Observatory gives them the perfect snug hideaway. They can stay dry inside the cabin and watch the world go by through the bubble window!

We're also working on a waterproof fitted cover (similar to a rabbit hutch cover) to keep out the wind and rain so they stay extra cosy all season long.

Antony and Toby(our youngest son) were dragged into the forest in the early morning light to capture these photos! The deep forest shade gives the Vermont Green stain such a moody tone in these photos. It was absolutely worth the early start and muddy boots.

P.s: Check the comments for some outtakes so you can see we really did haul this into the forest (no Al here!).

We’re running a little behind on emails/messages today as Kayleigh has been in A&E most of the day.

We’re now home and despite her insistence to get back on with things, she’s going to be resting for the remainder of the afternoon. I’ve had to lock the workshop and hide the key from her 🔐

If you were expecting an email or message today, we’ll now be getting responses out on Monday.

Some of you might remember the custom Playground + Explorer set up with adaptations we built for little Birdie over the summer.

Her humans sent us these heartwarming photos showing her all the way at the top section of her Playground. With a few tailored changes, Birdie can fully let her inner cat shine without her limb differences holding her back! 🧡🤍

We love being able to help disabled cats climb, explore, and display their natural behaviors. 🐾

Cushions have taken over!
We've been completely blown away by your amazing response to our new water-resistant cushions. So much so that our new workshop space has practically transformed into a dedicated sewing room!

That's right, every single cushion is handmade by us right here, designed specifically to fit our outdoor cat tree cabins and bed platforms. We built them to handle the outdoors without sacrificing comfort, packing a thick foam core inside a water-resistant yet breathable inner slip, all wrapped in a durable water-resistant canvas outer cover.

The main cover easily slips off for cleaning, and we'll soon be offering separate covers so you can keep a backup in rotation or switch up the colors whenever you fancy a change!

Phew - what a week in the workshop!
We've had a proper production line going, finishing up a fresh batch of The Playground which is still holding strong as our absolute most popular design!

It's always so satisfying seeing them lined up together before they head off to their new homes across the UK - and especially so when they’re in a range of stains!
Looking at them together I can see why it’s so tough for some customers to choose a colour. They all look so good 💛💚🤎

Which one do you like best? The darker colours still win out for me 😻

Making the most of this lovely late September sun we’re having at the moment.
It’s perfect weather for staining and our new drying rack is really speeding things up and saving much needed space.

Our new mini workshop is now up and it’s really given us a boost as we’re not tripping over one another. Photos to come once I’m happy with the inside!
