Rust E Boy

Rusty is a 5year old 16.1hh Ex racehorse gelding

He is ROR eligible, schooling nicely on the flat, hacks alone and in company always sane and sensible, good with all traffic, good in open spaces and jumps sweetly.

Rusty has been out to local shows winning on his first time out at dressage in the prelim. Warmed up sensibly and sweetly and behaved impeccably from start to finish.

Rusty is good to load, good for the farrier, easy to handle and all round a nice person.

He would suit someone looking for a sweet and smart allrounder who is happy to produce him further.

As he is only 5 no novice or nervous riders please even though he is super sensible.

This evening I ventured off out to Forest Edge Arena for some evening dressage on the lovely 4 year old Cass owned by Jessica Rees

I’ve been riding Cass once a week for a little while now after backing him for Jess and this evening he proved once again what a sweet lad he is!

Never having been in an arena under saddle (let alone with another horse) he produced a sweet test with a couple of baby spooks and wobbles to come 6th in a class of 9. Super pleased with how well he took to it all.

5 year old exracer Rust E Boy at his first ever show this evening.

Well and truly thrown in the deep end as it’s been so hot I haven’t taken him to any arena hires so he had to go straight out between the boards!

He behaved impeccably from start to finish especially as I was out alone and managed a 3rd in the intro and a 1st in his prelim! Not bad for a first try ⭐️

Happy to have a variety of types as I have experience with a range of horses from cobs to warmbloods to racehorses as well as experience from a range of different yards including Dressage, Showjumping, Eventing and racing Yards.

Home base is in Hingham Norfolk

I can offer:

A structured exercise plan with emphasis on variety of training

Turnout

Indoor Barn stabling

I do not have an arena so we do regular trips to arena hires which then in turn gets horses out and about

Last weekend was a trip down to Cirencester, Gloucestershire for Cirencester horse trials to groom for one of my very best friends Hannah Nicolson who ran her own richhill in the intermediate and did a fantastic job getting their MER and jumping a super clear XC!
