A quick note about this mad hot weather and care for our dogs in this heat 🥵
I'm not saying there aren't morons out and about, dragging their dogs around unnecessarily, when they could be at home or in their garden, but also consider the dog owners who don't have a garden, or live in a flat. They still need to take their dog to go relieve themselves, and some people aren't fortunate enough to have a shaded path straight from their front door, sometimes it may take a 2 minute stroll down the road to find a patch of shade. Some people also don't have the luxury of a car to be able to drive to a shady spot.
There are people out there doing the best they can with what they have, so please refrain from overly judgmental comments, or shouting at people in the streets for having their dog outside, unless you can clearly see and know their circumstances.
If you can, offer their dog some water, or tell the owner of a good spot nearby with shade and a water source.
Be helpful, not judgmental.
