Spooky Season is well and truly upon us, and Marbles is taking her pumpkin carving duties very seriously! 🎃

Marbles is a stunning 8 month old female Syrian waiting for her forever home in Loughborough. She is a confident and food-oriented lady who loves a fuss but is less keen on being picked up, so would suit a fosterer who is happy to accommodate her independent nature.

🏠 Requires a 120 x 60 x 60 cm barless enclosure or larger

📍 Available from Loughborough
🚗 Full or partial delivery may be available up to three hours (transport is capped at 3 hours for all our hamsters)

If you think Marbles could be the perfect addition to your family, send us a message to find out more about Marbles or our adoption process.

We’re very sad to share that Sofia passed away peacefully in her sleep this week. ❤️

Following our recent update, Sofia had been responding well to her medication, with no indication that her health was declining. From everything we can tell, she passed peacefully and comfortably in her sleep.

While we wish Sofia could have had much longer, we’re incredibly grateful that she got to spend her final few months in a loving foster home where she was safe, comfortable and thoroughly spoiled. She had everything she needed, plenty of enrichment, favourite foods and a fosterer making sure she could enjoy life entirely on her own terms.

When Sofia’s ongoing health needs meant that rehoming was no longer right for her, she became one of our Forever Hamsters. This meant she could remain settled in the home she knew, with her veterinary care, medication and everything else she needed provided for her.

We’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who donated towards Sofia’s recent veterinary care, and to everyone who sponsors our Forever Hamsters. Your support makes this care possible. It allows us to make decisions based entirely on what is right for each hamster, including providing lifelong care when they need it.

Most importantly, Sofia spent her time with us comfortable, cared for and very loved. We couldn’t have asked for more for her final chapter. ❤️

Sleep peacefully, beautiful Sofia.
