Ozzy has had his fourth dose of antibiotics this morning, eye drops and syringe feeding. He is doing ok. He doesn't seem as snotty and has been showing more interest in food and moving around. Fingers crossed he is back to his happy self soon. Please send good wishes to Ozzy.

Ozzy has been to the vet today for a follow-up check and is now on antibiotics, eye drops and I am supplementary feeding him. Ozzy has been in rescue for about 5 weeks and didn't arrive in great condition. He did have a vet check a few weeks ago and his general condition had improved quite a bit here. He was active and weight gaining. However, there has been a deterioration in the past few days and he isn't feeling so well. He has a runny nose and his eyes are more watery than usual. He has also been more lethargic and not eating so much. Fortunately he loves being syringe fed and I am hoping he responds to the antibiotics. Please send love to Ozzy.

💕 Merida & Annie 💕

These lovely girls have been in rescue for quite a while now and are hoping to find a forever home together soon.

They are quite nervous of handling, so maybe better suited to an experienced or confident home. Despite being nervous they love exploring and playing.

Annie is quite a dominant guinea pig and has struggled living in groups previously, so the girls will need to remain as a bonded pair. They could potentially bond with a submissive neutered male.

These girls are still young (approximately 8 months old).

Location: Tyne and Wear

Blackberry – who could resist this cuddly boy?!

Blackberry’s foster family absolutely fell in love with him and it’s easy to see why. Sadly, the bonding with their resident guineas wasn’t successful, so Blackberry is looking for his forever home.

When Blackberry arrived in rescue he was rather overweight, but with more space, exercise, and a healthy diet he has lost weight and can now move around much more comfortably.

Blackberry is about 3 years old and was neutered while in rescue, meaning he could join a sow or a group of sows.

Blackberry is looking for an indoor home with a large C&C cage or equivalent setup, unlimited good quality hay, fresh veggies twice daily and lots of love and cuddles.

Blackberry does have a mild impaction issue and needs a bit of help with this every couple

Patch in his favourite sleeping spot. He likes to be up high and look about over everyone. I wonder if it is also a little cooler and breezier up there while it is so hot.
