Yesterday we visited the new The Pet People pet shop in Great Yarmouth and had a grrreat time! We especially liked the treat pick and mix, swipe to see our video of a VERY in depth perusal before choosing a fish skin flattie, beef flattie and chicken feet to take home 🥰. We told Mummy that we need to go again next week for our weekly shop… it’s only fair because Mummy gets groceries too so we need to do our weekly shop too, right paw friends 🤭?!

We definitely give it our four paws of approval!

Six months ago, on Mia’s 11th birthday we got the devastating news that Talia had bladder cancer at only 6 years old 😢. It’s been a difficult 6 months and we were so elated to celebrate Talia’s 7th birthday in May, only to suddenly lose our princess Mia two weeks later in June 💔. Not the year we thought we’d had but we’re so glad to still have our favourite Tallywag with us 🙏.

Talia had a bladder infection last week but thankfully has recovered well and is enjoying having cousin Teddy over for his weekly sleepover. Long may “The Two T’s” continue their reign!

Hi Pawfriends 🐾

We’ve been very busy in the last couple of weeks. Mummy found a doggie photo scavenger hunt so we’ve been taking lots of photos and dressing up for the challenges. It’s been a lot of fun, especially all the treats for posing so well 😉! Grandad even let us borrow his berets for a photo… don’t we look smart? 🥰

Mummy is making us our very own photo scavenger hunt for Howl-o-ween 😱! If any of our paw friends would like to join in, let us know and we’ll share it so you can join in the fun too 😁

We’ll bark another pupdate soon but for now we must go have a snooze. It’s been 30 degrees here today… too hot for us fluffs 🥵. Stay cool paw friends!

Talia update 🐾

Talia had another scan at the vets and the result is a mixed bag. The original tumour hasn’t grown, however a second tumour has been spotted on the opposite side of her bladder 😢. We don’t know if it was always there and just not seen before or if it is new so it’s a bit worrying to have that uncertainty.

But she is still happy in herself and our brilliant vet has said enjoy the summer and we’ll repeat the scan in three months time so that’s exactly what the “two T’s” are going to do! We’re off to make the most of every day and make some memories (when it’s cool enough to do so, it’s been waaay too hot 🥵).

Thank you to everyone who left us comments on our last post about losing our special girl Mia 🌈🐾. Genuinely can’t believe it’s already been over a week since we lost her, we are missing her so much 💔.

At the moment we’re surviving, although the house is very quiet. Teddy has been enjoying some long walks (avoiding the heat!) He’s been getting lots of cuddles and we’ve been spending time with Netty Nan and Talia which has been nice too 💗.

I’ll do another post soon with an update on Talia’s health.

Finally I wanted to say a massive thank you to Chris and the team at Rackheath Vets who went above and beyond for us with Mia, we are so grateful to you. Truly a fantastic vet practice.

Also would like to thank the team at Rainbow Bridge Pet Cremations Ltd who were so supportive and caring. They made the worst day of my life just a little bit easier and took great care of my Mia. Thank you all.

I am beyond devastated to be writing this. Our beautiful princess Mia has gone to rainbow bridge this week 😭. After further investigations from her sudden illness, she was diagnosed with acute leukaemia, it was very aggressive and nothing could be done to save my precious girl.

We are all so very shocked and heartbroken, she was one in a million and my true heart dog 💔

I want to tell you all about Mia and how amazing she was but today it hurts too much... All I can say is run free my best girl, enjoy your chicken nuggets and cheese at rainbow bridge with Carly Pup and Milky Bone Nan. I know you’re in safe hands.

It’s been quite a stressful week for everyone after Mia turned up very poorly with vomiting and anaemia. After lots of blood work, an ultrasound and lots of medication she seems to be improving although we do still have a long way to go. We haven’t fully confirmed the cause of her anaemia yet but we have ruled out a lot of sinister things which is a big relief! The vets best guess currently is a bad bout of gastritis caused acute bleeding in her stomach after all the vomiting.

We’re back to the vets next week where hopefully we’ll find the anaemia has resolved itself 🤞otherwise we’ll have to continue investigating the cause. Meanwhile Mia is currently happily having a snooze while Teddy has gone off to Netty Nan’s for a sleepover with his bestie Talia (who is still doing well!) we’ll bark a new pupdate with more news soon paw friends 🐾

We’re so happy to be celebrating our Talia’s 7th birthday today 🥰!

Just a few months ago we were afraid she wouldn’t make it to this day, but we’re pleased to say she’s doing well and still enjoying life! She’s been thoroughly spoilt with lots of treats and toys and we’re all getting together for a birthday walk in the woods today.

Oh woof is it hot 🥵!

We've had a break from posting for a little while as Mummy had to have some minor eye surgery and needed time to recover but she is feeling all better now and ready to type our pupdates once again!

It's been a very hot few days here. Mummy says it is 30 degrees right now outside 😱. We have been having some early/late walks in the woods, doing scent work inside and even had some doggy ice cream today, yum 😋.

Anyway, time for another shady snooze in front of the fan. Stay cool pawfriends! 🐾😎
