The original instigator.

Before Olive & Oscarā€™sā€¦
there was just a borrowed dog,
a quiet walk,
and the sense that something needed to change.

He didnā€™t know, of course.
He just did what Cockers do;
ran, explored, insisted on joyā€¦

ā€¦and somewhere in all of that,
everything shifted.

Today he went in for surgery.
The kind that asks for stillness, patienceā€¦
and no unnecessary movement
(all of his least favourite things).

So for now,
the dog who started the adventure
has to pause it.

Weā€™ll all be rooting for you, Charlie.

Take your time. Heal properly.
Weā€™ll be right here when youā€™re ready. šŸŒæ
