May moments🫶🏻

We have seen some lovely pets this month!

One part of our job we can’t help but love is giving your fur babies a snuggle when we get chance💙

It’s set to be a warm one this Bank Holiday weekend! While many of us (and our dogs!) might enjoy the sunshine, it’s important to remember how serious heatstroke in dogs can be.
☀️ Dogs can struggle to regulate their body temperature, even if they seem happy and playful in the heat.
👉 Please take extra care:

Avoid walks during the hottest part of the day
Make sure fresh water and shade are always available
Never leave dogs in cars, even for a short time
Watch for signs of heatstroke (excessive panting, drooling, lethargy)

💛 A little awareness goes a long way in keeping our pets safe and happy this weekend
Stay cool and enjoy the sunshine responsibly! 🐶✨

We’re not supposed to have favourites… but little Mable has really stolen our hearts😍

Mable visited the practice for her puppy vaccinations and we have loved seeing her grow the last few weeks!

She has definitely mastered posing for treats x

Our practice wouldn’t run without our incredible receptionists🩵

Thankyou to Danni, Jodie, Claire, Nicole, Helena & Lorraine for all of your hard work day in day out!

💙🐾 Happy National Receptionists Day! 🐾💙

This week, we’re celebrating the work of our incredible veterinary receptionists — the calm voices on the phone, the friendly faces at the front desk, and the people who keep our practices running smoothly every single day.

Often the first point of contact for our clients and teams, receptionists juggle appointment scheduling, client communication, emergency triage, administration, payments and so much more — all while showing empathy, professionalism and resilience, even in the most challenging moments.

They are organisers, communicators, problem solvers and team players. They support our vets and nurses, reassure worried clients, manage busy practice workflows and help ensure every pet gets the care they need, when they need it.

At CVS, we know that great patient care doesn’t start in the consult room — it starts at reception. That’s why we’re proud to support our reception teams with opportunities to connect, share experiences and feel valued as the essential professionals they are.

To all our veterinary receptionists across the group: thank you for your dedication, compassion and the huge difference you make every day. 💙

👏 If you work alongside an amazing receptionist, tag them or leave a message of thanks below — let’s make sure they feel the appreciation they truly deserve.
