Throwback to a very special moment 💙

Some of you may remember Chris, who was part of the Arberth Vets team before heading off on an incredible adventure to New Zealand 🌏🐾. This lovely photo is from his wedding to Alicia in Belfast—a beautiful celebration and a special link back to his Northern Hemisphere roots.

Even more special, this moment captures two former colleagues reunited after many years apart. It’s amazing how the bonds formed in this profession (and in our practice) can stand the test of time, distance, and continents.

Wishing Chris and Alicia a lifetime of happiness, and celebrating the friendships that make what we do so meaningful 🐶🐱

🔥🐾 Heatstroke is a real risk for pets 🐾🔥

As temperatures rise, our pets can struggle to stay cool—and heatstroke can happen quickly.

⚠️ Watch for warning signs:
• Heavy panting
• Drooling
• Lethargy or confusion
• Vomiting or collapse

🚨 If you notice any of these, contact your vet immediately—this is an emergency.

💡 Prevention tips:
✔️ Walk early morning or late evening
✔️ Provide constant access to fresh water
✔️ Keep pets in cool, shaded areas
✔️ Never leave pets in cars

🐾 FOUND DOG 🐾

This handsome boy has been brought into us after being found in the Coldblow area. He appears to be a long-haired Collie cross with a beautiful auburn coat.

Unfortunately, he is not microchipped.

We are situated in Narberth. If you believe this may be your dog, please give us a call as soon as possible.

🕛 Saturday 23rd – Open until 12pm
🚪 Sunday 24th – Closed
📞 Out of Hours services will still be available
🌟 Monday 25th – Closed
🩺 Tuesday 26th – Back to normal opening hours
⏰ 8:30am – 6pm

🚨 MISSING CAT – PLEASE SHARE 🚨

Michu has been missing from Llanmill since Saturday 2nd May.

🐾 Small black female cat
🐾 White paws, chest & mouth
🐾 15 years old, but looks much younger
🐾 MICROCHIPPED

Please could everyone check sheds, garages, barns, bins and any outbuildings carefully — she may be trapped or hiding nearby.

Big day for our gorgeous Clumber Spaniel puppies! 🐾💉✨

Today they had their first vaccinations and microchips — such brave little bundles of fluff! 🥹💕 Not a single complaint - okay… maybe a tiny squeak or two 😅, but lots of cuddles afterwards and a little snooze, then right back to playing!

They’re growing into the sweetest, chunkiest little characters and we couldn’t be prouder of them 💛

Healthy, happy, and one step closer to their forever homes! 🏡💫
