Fridays finale finished with a house session with Monty the Lab X Bernese Mountain Dog. This handsome chap needed some help to stop jumping up and puppy nipping, some crate training to help with separation anxiety and some play and drop work too. Monty was a super star and now has lots of homework to help him turn into the best dog he can be ❤️

This is 14 year old Sidney. Sidney’s Mum called Pamper & Scamper because since moving from his last home he is suffering with separation anxiety. Today we began simple steps to build his confidence in being alone, we’re all hoping that with a couple of weeks training Sidney is back to his old self relaxing and snoozing whilst Mum pops out.

Yet another new recruit to learn the Pamper & Scamper Recall System. Ethel is a Bedlington Terrier X Whippet and her sister began her training with me last week called Ivy, can you see the likeness?

The awesome GSP Hilda and her owner Lucy achieved a high merit (just two marks off a distinction!) in her Intermediate Gundog Test. The test consisted of:

- Blind retrieval at 40yrds
- Water retrieval to hand
- Hunting for 3 mins without interruption with a stop whistle at distance followed by left or right mark dummy
- Stationary Left, Right & Back (behind dog) mark retrieval at 40yrds
- Memory retrieval at 50yrds
- 2 mins sit stay at 40yds with a decoy dummy thrown close to the dog

Very well done to Hilda & Lucy for such a great performance.
