🏆We’re finalists, not once but twice!🏆

We’re so happy to share that Crossroads Resort are finalists in this year’s Pet Industry Federation Awards for both our Kennels and Daycare services.

A huge congratulations to everyone who has been recognised across all of the categories. We’re genuinely honoured to be finalists and to have the work we do at Crossroads recognised in this way.
Everything we do has always been about creating a space that dogs genuinely enjoy being in and benefit from during their time with us, whether they first visit us as puppies or come to us later in life.

This year, with the launch of our new enrichment programme, we’ve been able to take this even further. We can create more tailored and bespoke experiences for the individual dogs in our care and make sure that their time with us is as rewarding as possible.

The trust, welfare and high standards that Steve and the team have built at Crossroads are at the heart of everything we do and it’s really special to see those efforts recognised.

We’re looking forward to seeing everyone on 5th November and a big thank you to the Pet Industry Federation - PIF for the recognition.

Wish us luck!🤞🐾

🐾 Daycare Dump🐾

Check out all those happy faces!🥹🐶

So many fulfilled, tired and happy doggos making the most of their day with us. We really do have the best job caring for these fluffballs🥳

We have even had some of our boarding dogs drop in for some holiday fun at the centre too!

Yogi volunteered to be today's model... and thoroughly enjoyed being the centre of attention🐶

We're really proud to have recently received three more industry awards recognising our boarding, daycare and training departments.

These awards reflect the dedication and care our team brings every single day. Thank you to everyone who supports Crossroads and trusts us with your dogs. It genuinely means the world to us💚

Here's to keeping tails wagging and standards high🐾🐕

☀️Happy Friday☀️

Let’s have a little catch up!

It’s been quite hot lately. Although I feel like we’ve been saying that for a few weeks now🤣

Whether they’ve been boarding with us or visiting the daycare centre, all of our doggos have been keeping nice and cool. We’ve made sure they’ve had plenty of time in the shade, lots of fresh water, paddling pools and plenty of rest whenever they’ve needed it.

As much as we’ve loved the sunshine, I think we’re all ready for it to cool down a little…

Hands up if you agree!🙋‍♀️

To give you a little Friday smile, here’s a look at what we have been getting up to, plus a few of the gorgeous new faces who have joined us😍

We really are so lucky to spend our days with this bunch🥹🐾

✨ We've been a little quiet... but for a very good reason. ✨

For the last few months we've been focused on a project that's been a long time in the making and today we're so excited to finally share it with you!

Welcome to the brand new Crossroads Resort office🐾

This isn't just a fresh coat of paint or a new desk. It's the next step in our journey and a physical representation of everything Crossroads stands for.

Every detail has been carefully considered to reflect our rebrand, our professionalism and, most importantly, the exceptionally high standards we hold ourselves to every single day. From the moment you walk through our doors we want you to feel the same confidence and trust that we strive to provide in the care, training and wellbeing of every dog that comes to us.

This has truly been a labour of love. Countless hours, endless decisions and a shared vision to create a space that reflects who we are today and where we're heading tomorrow.

We're incredibly proud of what we've built and can't wait to welcome both familiar and new faces into our new home.

Thank you to everyone who has supported us while we've been busy behind the scenes. We think you'll agree it was worth the wait💚

Here's to the next chapter of Crossroads Resort and continuing to raise the bar for the dogs and owners who put their trust in us💪

🌿 Maintenance Day 🌿

As much as we love our artificial grass areas for structured activities and all-weather play, our natural grass fields are just as important to the dogs in our care. A fresh cut and tidy up across our field areas today ready for another week of daycare, boarding and training fun 🐾

Maintaining our outdoor spaces is about far more than appearance. It plays a huge role in the dogs’ safety, wellbeing and overall experience while in our care. Across our 8 activity zones including 4 large grass field areas, we follow a consistent maintenance plan to keep every space safe, enriching and enjoyable for the dogs.

Why does it matter so much?👇

🌱Natural grass environments allow dogs to sniff, forage, explore, roll, run and decompress in ways that feel natural to them. These species-typical behaviours are so important for emotional wellbeing and confidence.

🌱Keeping grass well maintained also helps us reduce hidden hazards while managing environmental risks such as ticks, pests and debris. It allows us to properly monitor the condition of our fields while creating safer spaces for running, play and training activities.

🌱Routine field care also supports cleaner and more hygienic environments with better drainage and more comfortable outdoor spaces throughout the year.

🌱From zoomies and social play to scent work and recall practice, our field areas give dogs the freedom to move naturally and simply enjoy being dogs.

Whether your dog joins us for daycare, boarding or training, every outdoor area is cared for with canine welfare at the centre of everything we do💚

🌞 Fun in the Sun! 🌞

We’re fully embracing those spring vibes here at Crossroads, and it’s been amazing to see so many of our lovely canine friends enjoying even more time with us thanks to the launch of our new enrichment programme! 🐾

Developed in partnership with Clever Canines Ltd, this programme is all about giving dogs the perfect balance of fun, stimulation, and thoughtful care while boarding💛

So far, we’ve had:
🐕 Group activities full of wagging tails
🌿 Individual walks for some one-on-one adventure
🐾 Paired walks for best-buddy bonding
🎾 And of course, our full daycare crew making the most of all our activity zones (almost as much as our seasoned daycare pros!)

You might even spot a few new furry faces joining in on the fun 👀🐶

🍃Pippa’s Park Continues to Evolve🍃

At Crossroads, development never stands still🙈

Over recent weeks, we’ve been expanding and refining Pippa’s Park within our daycare environment, introducing additional structures designed to support balance, movement and confidence building.

These additions are not simply about new equipment.

They are about creating opportunities for dogs to:
- Make choices
- Develop coordination
- Engage in structured enrichment
- Explore safely within a supervised setting

The response from the dogs has been fantastic, with many already establishing their favourite routes and vantage points🐶

As always, every adjustment we make within our resort is centred around thoughtful design, professional supervision and the wellbeing of the dogs in our care. A huge thank you to m4em Timber Products for their continued commitment to designing and helping us build some of the very best enrichment spaces around.

If you feel your dog would enjoy exploring Pippa’s Park and our other activity zones, we would be happy to welcome you for an assessment session🥳

📩 Get in touch with our team to find out more about availability and an assessment
