Short haired dogs don’t need the groomers? 🤔
This is our Bella, she’s a boxer, in the salon for a deshed.
Not only does this massively help the hair in the house but it has benefits to Bella too.
Dogs such as Labradors, Pugs, Boxers, Frenchies and Beagles can shed an enormous amount. Their dead hair often sits packed within the coat rather than simply falling away.
A proper deshed helps to:
* 🐾 Remove loose/dead coat before it ends up all over the house.
* 🌬️ Improve airflow through the coat, particularly in dense-coated breeds like Labs.
* 🧴 Distribute the skin’s natural oils, helping the coat look glossy and healthy.
* 🩹 Reduce compacted undercoat, which can hold moisture, dirt and dander against the skin.
* 👀 lets you get a good look at the skin and spot lumps, irritation, parasites or other changes.
* ✨ Leave that lovely smooth, sleek finish — you can really tell the difference after a bath, high-velocity dry and thorough deshed.
