Abit of a height difference there with these two! 😂 Well, ones mum is 14.2h, others mum is 16.3h. So, maybe I understand 😂

Well today was a new thing for Bonnie. Considering she's 11 years old, and been a broodmare her entire life. Never been taught/had to lead correct, never seen anything in the world other than the field she's lived in, and realistically, she's minimally handled and a little nervous. She went out to a local show today and did a couple of in hand classes. Well, what a girl! A first place, a second place, AND reserve champion of the in hand classes!

Yes, her mane falls to the incorrect side, and yes, I'm in ridden attire (I was also showing Vinny, my stallion in the ridden classes), but this is just a low key, local show. Great environment for her!

Just goes to show, had she be a ridden horse, I think she would have just the best behaviour! May have to break her to ride!

That's the babies parentage reports all confirmed. When I tell you it's a Shire cross or a friesian cross, I mean it, and there is the proof there. DNA doesn't lie!!

Now these are here, I can get their passport forms sent off and then they all have their own individual identity!

I have tried every year, and failed, to teach those babies to pull the ragwort themselves, pop it into wheel barrows and take it to the gate of the field for me to dispose of.

Unfortunately, not a single one i'v bred has learnt this task yet! Guess that's just another job I need to do myself then! Maybe one day, one of them will have the idea! 😂

Deposit now received on Aurelia, so that's this year's babies all reserved.

So now instead of the advertisement, you can all just follow the spam of the babies growing up and what my ladies and the stallions are up to!

And it's time to wait for the next lot of babies next year!
