What a pleasure it was grooming these boys today 🫶🏻
They were perfectly well behaved from start to finish 🥳

These boys have patiently waited for their appointment with me, meaning they were quite overgrown 🫣 but their owners had managed to keep them matt free allowing their usual fluffy cut to be done 🥳

I look forward to their next visit ♥️

A beautiful handstrip on Freya today 👌

It was questionable last time I saw her whether her coat would strip well after her spay but a bit of patience we’ve achieved what we set out to do 🥳

As always, it was great to see Freya & catch up with her owner who, very helpfully stays to help tidy up 🫶🏻

🐶 R O M M I E 🐶

This was one of those appointments that came with no pressure & no expectations.
Rommie is a Romanian rescue & at first we were unsure how best to deal with her coat.

After discussing several options, we decided to attempt handstripping to see if her coat was suitable but more importantly if she was comfortable with this method 👌
Many would have jumped straight to clipping but I love keeping old grooming traditions alive where possible & the benefits handstripping gives.

I am super pleased (& rather proud) with the end result - a fully hand-stripped Rommie who was calm & comfortable throughout 💪

It’s always great when an owner fully trusts me to deliver a groom that not only looks amazing but allows the freedom to adapt to different methods should I need too! 🤗

Rommie, it really was a pleasure & I can’t wait to work with you again ♥️

(Picture of Rommie after her strip but before her bath & one of her fully finished)

1st time here for Bob 🫶🏻 & what a lovely boy he is!

A fully carded coat (similar to handstripping) created a lovely finish maintaining his coarse coat typical for his breed!
