GREYS. finding homes for hounds GREYS is a non-profit retired greyhound rehoming kennels based in March, Cambridgeshire.

Get in contact to find out more about our dogs that are looking for homes 🐾 At GREYS our aim is to find homes for Greyhounds who have recently retired from racing. These greyhounds have owners and carers who are very proud of them and respect them as the true athlete they are, from bottom grade right to the top these dogs have given us their all & we will continue to do the same for them whilst th

ey wait in their familiar environments with all their known comforts and routines around them. These dogs are already cared for - they just need homes and need to get noticed! GREYs can give you their full history and discuss the dogs needs and what you have to offer... home visits or references will be asked for. We will be your constant contact for the dog and will always back up the homing agreeing to take the dog back if needed...

The dogs are in good conditions, upto date with vet work including neutered and often no donation is required - just a good home. GREYs dogs will be retired with their own collar and lead set, Arden grange bag of food and a new muzzle. We’re proud to be part of the Greyhound Retirement Scheme (GRS) which helps ensure that every greyhound leaving racing enjoys a long and happy retirement. This scheme is overseen by the Greyhound Board of Great Britain (GBGB) which is the regulator for licenced greyhound racing in Great Britain. Under the GRS, a £420 bond – paid for jointly by owners and GBGB – is attached to each newly registered racing greyhound. This means that the financial costs of homing a greyhound are met before their racing career even begins. The full bond is unlocked when a greyhound enters an approved homing centre, like our own, and goes towards the costs of kennelling, feeding and caring for the greyhound until a home is found.

Thor is an absolute master of the "teefies" grin and is officially looking for his forever sofa 🏡

​He is the ultimate family guy who absolutely lives for toys, treats, and playtime. He is brilliant with children of all ages, great on his walks, and gets along wonderfully with fellow greyhounds.

While the rest of us are still recovering from today’s dramas, Gareth is currently winding down for the night, completely oblivious to it all 😴 (Honestly, he’s pretty oblivious to most things, but we love him for it! 😆)

🚨 GREYmobile Update: Doomed from the start! 🚨

​Well, unfortunately, today’s grand road trip didn't exactly go to plan! The GREYmobile sadly broke down just 10 minutes away from our very first stop 😩

​Luckily enough, Jack managed to safely pull over right next to a field of cows! Might as well see if the dogs pass their 'cow test' while they were waiting! 🐮👀

​Human kindness saved the day, though. The wonderful RAC man agreed to tow the van the final 10 minutes to Mo’s new home, so at least one lucky hound gets to curl up on their forever sofa tonight! Thank you so much, RAC 🧡

We will post another update later regarding Olly and Glenn. We are going to try our absolute best to still get them home, or we will rearrange for them to go to their new homes another day very soon.

​Jack is hitting the road today for a massive rehoming round trip!

Starting from our kennels in March, he’s navigating the GREYmobile up to Yorkshire, across to Lancashire, and over to Liverpool to take three incredibly lucky hounds to their brand new forever homes!

​Huge good luck and safe travels to Mo, Glenn, and Olly as they head off on their next big adventure!

​We can't wait to hear how the road trip goes and, most importantly, see lots of updates of them settling onto their new sofas! 🛋️❤️

🐾 Lark here, reporting live from the spotlight! 🐾

Wow. Just… wow. The humans showed me the page this morning, and I nearly dropped my favorite squeaky toy.

Yesterday, they posted a photo of me looking incredibly dashing, if I do say so myself, and things have gone absolutely crazy! In just 24 hours, over 1,800 of you liked it, and more than 200 people shared my handsome face across the internet!

I am so, so grateful to every single one of you. My ears are doing that little happy fold just thinking about it! Hopefully, all this love has put me just one step closer to finding my forever family. I promise I’m the best boy, and my absolute biggest wish is to find a sofa of my own before my birthday in July 🎂❤️

🌟 But wait… I have a favor to ask! 🌟

While I am obviously the most handsome boy in the entire world and fully deserve my new celebrity status, I don’t want to be the only famous hound around here.
