🍂 Watch out for mould this autumn! 🍂

As the weather turns cooler and wetter, mouldy food can become a hidden danger for our pets. 🐾

Mould can grow on items such as fallen fruit, compost, food waste and leftovers. If eaten, it can produce toxins that may cause symptoms including vomiting, diarrhoea, tremors, seizures and, in severe cases, can be life-threatening.

To help keep your pets safe: ✅ Keep compost bins secure
✅ Clear away fallen fruit from the garden
✅ Dispose of mouldy food carefully
✅ Supervise curious pets when out on walks

If you think your pet has eaten something mouldy, contact your vet immediately for advice.

🐾 Pretty Paisley paid us a visit at PetMedics Salford recently for her booster vaccination, and she certainly brightened our day! 💙

She was an absolute superstar throughout her appointment and made sure to pose for a few lovely photos before heading home.

Theodore and Tobias are magnificent Maine C**n brothers that are on our feline blood donor register. They have had blood pressure and blood tests earlier this year and were on standby when we needed them.

We had two very poorly cats who were so anaemic they required blood transfusions and after testing we found that Theo and Tobias were a successful match.
They and their owner's kindness and generosity have meant that we were able to stabilise our poorly cats.

Thank you, Theo, Tobias and their owners, we are all so grateful for your amazing donations!

🐾 Olive visited us for her first vaccination recently! 💉💕

Starting vaccinations is an important step in helping keep puppies protected as they grow and explore the world around them. Olive was an absolute star during her visit and won plenty of hearts from the team! 🥰

We can't wait to see her again for her next visit. 💙

🌷 Planting bulbs this autumn? Keep curious pets safe! 🐾

Many popular spring-flowering bulbs, including daffodils, tulips and hyacinths, can be harmful to pets if eaten. Dogs are often tempted to dig them up, and ingesting bulbs can lead to vomiting, diarrhoea, drooling and tummy pain.

When planting bulbs in your garden:
✅ Store bulbs out of reach of pets
✅ Supervise pets in freshly planted areas
✅ Clear away any leftover bulbs or plant material

If you think your pet has eaten a plant bulb, contact your vet for advice as soon as possible.
