And just like that, today is my last day owning the business. 🐾
As most of you know, I’m now handing over the lead, but I didn’t want the day to pass without saying a proper thank you. After so many years of dog walks, cat visits, pet sits, messages, keys, muddy paws and all the little daily moments in between, it feels very strange to be signing off.
I also want to say a huge thank you to the team — Manny, Gillian and Amy. They have been absolutely amazing, and I couldn’t have asked for a more caring, reliable and genuinely lovely group of people to work alongside. I’m so pleased that they’ll all be staying on to support Janine and continue caring for your pets, so you’ll still see the same familiar faces and know they’re in the very best hands.
For the last 20 years it has been an absolute privilege to care for your pets, and to be trusted with such an important part of your lives. I’ve met so many wonderful people (and their equally wonderful animals!) and I’m so grateful for all the support, loyalty and kindness you’ve shown me over the years.
Although I’m stepping away from ownership, the business is in safe hands with Janine, and I know it will continue to be filled with the same love and care.
Thank you for being such a big part of this chapter of my life — I’ll miss all the familiar faces, wagging tails and purrs more than you know.
I’m off to snuggle my 3 furry family members,
