Part 3 of my interview with Lisa trencher for the University Of Manchester students as part of their live brief with Oxfam.

I talk about my first volunteer position in 2007, the differences in opinion of charity shop prices and what I would explain to someone who thinks second hand clothes are “icky”. (FYI, they’re not!)

📣 Announcement time!

I have been umming and ahhing about whether to post this as it seems very final. But my head, heart and nervous system are telling me I need to pursue this next chapter with all of my being - and that’s what I’m going to do.

This account will always be me, open and honest chats about life, sewing, chronic illness and charity shops. And as my friends have said - The Fruit Moth was never the products, it was always me 🥰

So I’ll be staying right here, but I won’t be making to sell for the foreseeable. The website will be closing very soon, so if there’s a last thing you want to snap up now is your chance.

On Friday I had a gorgeous interview with the wonderful Lisa trencher recorded for her students who are doing a live brief with Oxfam about charity retail.

As a charity shop obsessive who has shopped in them, volunteered in them and now work in (the best) one, I was honoured to be asked! So I thought I would write down my answers in a little more detail.
