Passionate about creating a practice based around our values of clinical excellence and committed care in a practical, compassionate manner, Heath Equine Practice was formed by co directors Merete Hass, Kathy Duncan and Jo Miles in December 2020. We are an independent veterinary practice, something we are fiercely proud of. We are delighted to be building our practice around our personal principles to become the heart of equine veterinary care within our community. The relationship with our clients is held with utmost importance and we are committed to providing a warm, professional and honest service to you. As an ambulatory team we have invested in state of the art portable diagnostic equipment ensuring that we can provide clinical excellence conveniently at your premises. We are privileged to be trusted with the care of a large number of horses. These range from elite racehorses to elderly ponies, and of course our beloved donkeys! We are passionate about treating each one as the unique individuals they are and as if they were our own.

FREE FLU VACCINES!!!

Did you know…..

🦠The flu virus is highly contagious and can travel up to 5km through the air - even horses that do not leave the stables are at risk

🦠 It can survive for up to three days on clothes and yard equipment.

With cases of equine flu on the rise, it is more important than ever to keep an eye out for clinical signs :-

· Nasal discharge
· Coughing
· A temperature above 38.5 C
· Lethargy
· Inappetence
· Swollen lymph nodes around the jaw

💉💉💉It’s really important to protect your horse with vaccinations.💉💉💉

For the next month, any horse that starts (or restarts) their vaccines can get the second vaccine of their primary course for FREE*

Contact the practice on 01948 838104 or [email protected] to get booked in or find out more.

*Visit charges still apply.
