🐾🔥 CORE OBEDIENCE AT UNTAMED — PUTTING THE FOUNDATIONS TO THE TEST! 🖤🧡
Another great session tonight, working on the skills that make a real difference in everyday life! 💪
Tonight we focused on:
🚶 Walking Through Distractions — teaching our dogs to stay focused and work with us, even when there’s plenty going on around them.
🐾 Positions — building clarity, accuracy and understanding when asking for different positions.
✋ LEAVE IT! — developing impulse control and teaching our dogs that not everything they see, smell or want is theirs to have!
These exercises aren’t just about getting a dog to follow a command. They’re about building focus, patience, communication and the ability to make better choices, even when things get exciting.
Because good obedience isn’t just what your dog can do in a quiet training environment — it’s what they can do when distractions are all around them! 🎯
Every session is another opportunity to learn, improve and build a stronger partnership between dog and handler. Small steps, consistent training and plenty of progression! 👏🐕
