It’s Tuesday and just WOW. 💜
I think I have finally come back down from the most amazing weekend at
I’ve really struggled to put into words what this weekend was all about, what it’s done for me, and the incredible people I’ve met along the way.
Going into a room with over 180 pet businesses and suddenly realising that the things you worry about, the things you question, the fears you have and the ideas you’re bouncing around in your head… other people are thinking about them too.
Getting to put faces to profiles.
People to businesses.
And feeling, even for a little while, like you’re not doing this alone.
That bit was huge for me.
And then there was the learning.
Learning from some of the best in the business about pricing better, knowing your numbers, marketing better, growing your business, believing in yourself more and actually preparing for the future.
From Romany helping us think about our financial future, to Dom challenging those industry-wide barriers, to Charlotte showing us how to create the most incredible carousel content - every single session gave me something to take away. And Finally meeting Pete in person - priceless.
Worth. Every. Penny.
I also did the Growth Day with Dom Hodgson and… what. a. man. 😂
Champsaway and I have already decided that we are going to work towards getting this man properly in our corner and smashing that target.

What incredible human beings.
From building The Pet Accountant (can I claim the rum and ginger b**r as a business expense? 😉) to creating Pet Pro Expo, opening up conversations across the industry and championing better, more sustainable pet businesses - what you ladies have built deserves a huge round of applause.
I loved getting to meet you both properly.

Thank you for everything you do.
And then there was the drive home.
Silent.
I was exhausted in the most spectacular way.
Anyone who knows me knows that I talk… a lot.
So a silent car journey from Birmingham?
That is saying something. 😂
I came home with a full notebook, a very full head, a ridiculous amount of motivation and a whole new appreciation for the fact that building a business doesn’t have to mean building it alone.
What a weekend.
What an industry.
What a bloody brilliant bunch of people.
