Bladder stones

Meet Bella.
Bella came to us with Urinary issues and it turns out she had a huge bladder stone!

You can see in the X-ray it’s only a little smaller than her bladder. You can see a slight circular shadow that borders around the stone that is the bladder wall.

The next image is the stone. We pictured it next to a ruler so you can see just how big it is.

And lastly the third image is Bella. Visiting us for a check-up a few days later.
She was such a good girl!

A little Info
Bladder stones are rock hard structures that form minerals build up in urine. Not all bladder stones cases are alike. They can be many small stones, like sand or granules, and while some are smooth, some can have jagged edges. They usually form when the minerals in the urine aren’t balanced causing them to build up and form crystals. These crystals then grow and form the stones.
