💔 Missy came into BARC with her puppies and has spent much of her shelter stay caring for them. Now this young mama needs someone to care about saving her, too.

🩺 MEDICAL NOTES:

Missy developed CIRD/kennel cough, with thick green nasal discharge and coughing. She was started on Doxycycline 200 mg once daily for 10 days on 9/17.

Her heartworm test was NEGATIVE, and she has received her core vaccinations, deworming and preventatives.

🐾BEHAVIOR NOTES:

Missy is friendly, playful and wiggly with people. She frequently greets staff with a loose body, wagging tail and happy smile, enjoys pets and loves playing with toys. She generally walks nicely on a loose leash and has often paid little attention to other dogs while walking past them.

On 9/22 Missy showed no attention to passing dogs, calmly waited on her bed for her walk, greeted staff with a soft tail wag, walked on a loose leash and happily accepted lots of pets.
