🏡🐾 SUCCESS STORY SATURDAY: SUSHI AND DUMPLING 🐾🏡

Found near a Japanese restaurant in Cairo, Sushi’s story took a heartbreaking turn when she was forced back onto the streets. Pregnant and vulnerable, she gave birth to three kittens outdoors, Dumpling, Kimchi and Noodle. 💔

Thankfully, CCR stepped in and the little family was brought to safety. In November 2025, Sushi and Dumpling flew to the UK to begin their new lives together.

Today, they’re adored by their mum Ella! Sushi has found her confidence at her own pace, while Dumpling is busy perfecting the art of belly rubs and waking her human up by climbing all over her!

From the streets of Cairo to a loving home, this is what second chances look like.

Thank you to everyone who donates, shares and supports CCR. You help make happy endings like theirs possible. 💕

🏆 The C.C.R. Weekly Cat Report 🏆

BREAKING NEWS: Jasmine’s babies are already developing different funny personalities. We can only assume this is hereditary.

😇 NICE CAT OF THE WEEK: POPPY 🌺

Poppy is a polite, demure young lady. Sweet, gentle and beautifully behaved. She understands manners, personal space and the importance of maintaining an air of innocent elegance.

A little angel really!

Her mother Jasmine is absolutely beaming with pride… or Jasmine has probably bunny kicked someone in her excitement 🫣

😈 NAUGHTY CAT OF THE WEEK: CAMELLIA 📢

Meanwhile, her sister Camellia has apparently inherited EVERY SINGLE THOUGHT HER MOTHER HAS EVER HAD, AND SHE’S SHARING THEM ALL AT FULL VOLUME.

She shouts. She has opinions. She has announcements. She has follow up announcements to the announcements 🤣🤣 and if you thought she was finished, think again, because SHE HAS ONE MORE THING TO SAY! 🤣🫣

Poppy is demure.

Camellia IS the complaints department 🙃🤣

Same mum. Same litter. VERY different PR teams 🤣

BOTH GIRLS WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION SOON EITHER TOGETHER OR SEPARATELY! If you’re looking for a sweet, gentle little lady or a tiny megaphone with paws & whiskers, keep your eyes peeled for these beautiful sisters!

(We suspect Jasmine is already planning her retirement)

💛💩 EDUCATION THURSDAY: INAPPROPRIATE ELIMINATION! 💩💛

Finding wee or poo outside the litter tray can be frustrating, but your cat isn’t doing it out of spite! From medical problems and pain to stress, anxiety or litter tray issues, there are lots of reasons why cats might toilet elsewhere.

Always rule out medical causes first. Make sure trays are clean, accessible and in quiet locations, and provide enough trays for your cats.

Never punish your cat, it can increase stress and make the problem worse.

If the behaviour starts suddenly, your cat seems uncomfortable, or they’re straining to wee, seek veterinary advice urgently. Being unable to pass urine is an emergency.

Accidents aren’t naughty behaviour. They’re a sign that something might need attention.

Please share to help more people understand their cats!

✨🎀 TRANSFORMATION TUESDAY: JIJI! 🎀✨

Tiny kittens and busy roads are a heartbreaking combination 💔 so thank goodness Jiji was spotted in time.

Jiji was found blind in one eye, all alone and vulnerable beside a busy highway. She had no mum to protect her and desperately needed someone to step in. Thankfully, her rescuer, Randa, found her while travelling back from the airport after dropping cats off for their flights to new lives. As their rescue stories concluded, Jiji’s started.

Today, Jiji is safe in foster care, growing into the playful, affectionate little girl she deserves to be. Now she’s waiting for her own forever family!

One moment of being alone near traffic can change a tiny life forever, thankfully Jiji’s life was changed for the better, and this is only possible with support from you all!

Jiji is also available for adoption!

All of our cats come with an adoption package! Which means they are;

🐾 🖤MEET ME MONDAY: WINNIE!🖤🐾

Hiiii everybody! I’m Winnie, your very own colour changing, zoomie loving, professional heart stealer!

You might notice my coat looks a little different in some of my photos. That’s because I have a rare form of vitiligo, which makes patches of my gorgeous black fur turn grey or white and sometimes black again! Basically, I’m basically a limited edition, ever changing masterpiece.

I was rescued when I was only six weeks old after being found all alone on the streets. Some children were playing with me in a carrier bag as though I were a toy. Thankfully, Moka stepped in and got me somewhere safe.

Now I’m a happy, affectionate little boy who absolutely LOVES other cats. Honestly, I’ve yet to meet a feline friend I don’t like! I want a home with other friendly kitties I can cuddle, play with and generally annoy with my enthusiastic zoomies!

I’m gentle, loving, full of mischief, and ready to find my forever family!

Could you be the human who gives me my happily ever after? 🥹💕 I’ve been told black cats find it hard to find a home… I hope that’s not true!

Me and all my friends come with an adoption package! Which means we are;

❤️Neutered
🧡Microchipped

🏡🐾 SUCCESS STORY SATURDAY: CHESS 🐾🏡

Found in Egypt with a badly broken leg, Chess needed an urgent amputation. In September 2025, he flew to the UK and found his forever home with his new family in Scotland!

Now he’s scooting around happily and stealing hearts 🥹💕

Your support makes happy endings like Chess’s possible!

🏆The C.C.R. Weekly Cat Report 🏆

Welcome back to the only news desk where the staff are cats, the management is questionable, and HR has absolutely no power 🤣🤣

😇 NICE CAT OF THE WEEK: CROC 🧸

Croc has made a heartwarming discovery this week: plushie toys make EXCELLENT cuddle buddies! 🥹💕

While the rest of us are worrying about the state of the world, this precious little lady is embracing the simple things in life. Soft toys, snuggles and being an absolute sweetheart.

10/10 for emotional intelligence. Well done Miss croc 💕

😈 NAUGHTY CAT OF THE WEEK: JASMINE 🐰

Now, motherhood is a huge life change. After giving birth, many mums take up a relaxing new hobby. Birdwatching. Baking biscuits. Perhaps a spot of gardening.

Jasmine, however, has chosen VIOLENCE AS A HOBBY💀🤣

Her latest pastime involves bunny kicking her TWO KITTENS during playtime, even when the tiny victims have asked for her to STOP!

Jasmine has clearly decided that maternity leave is over and it’s time to introduce the children to the harsh realities of the workplace.

The kittens would like a word with management. Management is unfortunately currently bunny kicking someone.

Jasmine, darling. They’re your CHILDREN. 😭🤣🫣

That concludes this week’s report. Please tune in next week to see which member of the furry workforce commits the next HR violation.

If you think a cuddle bug like Croc or a playtime extraordinaire are something that you cannot live without pop us a message 💕

🧨❤️‍🔥 EDUCATION THURSDAY: FIREWORKS! ❤️‍🔥🧨

Fireworks might be exciting for us, but for our feline friends, those sudden bangs and flashing lights can be absolutely terrifying!

Here are a few simple ways to help your cats feel safer:

-Keep them indoors before fireworks begin, with windows, curtains and cat flaps secured.

-Play calming music or white noise to help mask sudden bangs.

-Provide plenty of hiding places and let them choose where they feel safest.

-Stick to their usual routine, stay calm and offer treats or play if they want it.

-Never force cuddles or drag your cat out of hiding. Let them cope in their own way.

⚠️ Important: Open mouth breathing, breathing difficulties or collapse are veterinary emergencies. Contact your vet urgently, and never give human medication.

A little preparation can make a huge difference to a frightened cat. Please share this post to help keep more kitties safe this fireworks season! 💕

💚IT’S CCR’s £1 WEDNESDAY!💚

This week, we’re raising money for Jasmine’s babies’ vaccinations 💉

Vaccinations help protect Poppy and Camellia from serious illnesses and give them the healthy start they deserve.

At £20 per cat, could you spare £1 to help us cover their vaccinations? Every donation makes a difference 💕

✨😜 TRANSFORMATION TUESDAY: MILLIE! 😜✨

At just seven weeks old, Millie was found alone on a dirty street, suffering from severe eye infections that had left her blind!

With, patience and love from her amazing vet team, one eye was saved with vision restored 🥳

Today, Millie is safe, thriving and growing into the sweet, playful little girl she was always meant to be in her foster home, she’s absolutely thriving but her ultimate favourite activity is when she’s given cooked chicken to eat!

Her past was heartbreaking, but it doesn’t define her future. Millie’s transformation is proof of the difference rescue can make.

Please support Cat’s Cats Rescue and help us save more vulnerable lives like hers.

Millie is available for adoption!
