Take heart if you are feeling low about training for grooming. It’s almost ten years ago my little man came to live with me. It took about 45 minutes to cut his nails, which grow much faster than his auntie Uma’s. Now it takes about 5 minutes. Consistent positive reward training, together with knowing the dog in front of me. Each dog needs a bespoke approach. If you can get a dog professional to help you with grooming training, do it. Exact timing of praise and reward is essential. As is seeing what the dog is feeling trying to do
