They don’t. Every dog produces porphyrins, the natural pigments that stain tears reddish-brown. On light coats you’ll see it. On darker dogs it’s hidden, but the build-up is still there.

And it’s the build-up you really want to stay on top of. Residue and moisture around the eyes give dirt and bacteria somewhere to gather, which is why keeping the area clean is part of good daily care. 🐾

A first for us! This is The Paws Lab’s debut in print. 💚💙

And it feels fitting that it’s our Tear Stain Wipes in the spotlight. Because eye care is one of the most overlooked parts of a dog’s routine, and one of the most important.
