Meet excitable Harvey! 🐶 He absolutely loves saying hello to other dogs—but, as we know, not every dog appreciates an enthusiastic greeting! 🤭

In this training session, we're teaching Harvey that he can **choose to disengage** and move his attention away from another dog. I’m not calling him away; the important part is that *Harvey makes the decision himself*. 🧠✨

Sometimes, I'll also guide an owner on when and how to reward their dog. In this case, I throw the treat away so Harvey can sniff it out, helping him redirect his focus and calmly disengage. 🦴🐾

And who is the other dog? Meet Rupert—my very convincing “fake” dog! 😂 Also known as **Reactive Rupert**, he’s a valuable part of my reactive dog training sessions and helps dogs like Harvey practise their skills before progressing to working around real dogs.

Every little choice in the right direction is a step forward! 🐕💙

In our Adolescent Class we’ll:
Reboot their brain
Practice focus + calmness.
Take real-life outings so your dog learns to settle when the world is very exciting.
It’s all about surviving the teenage phase with laughs, skills, and your sanity intact.

Saturday during our life skill classes we were doing the foundation of bow! It’s a fun trick. Willow here is being rewarded for slowly bending his front legs. He smashed it! He’s a quick learner.
