Today we had pumpkin, spice, fifi and peaches in to have vaccines. I didn’t get photos of fifi on the vet table as she was a little explorer and needed both hands. They was all vaccinated and microchipped and will be ready for rehoming from Friday onwards. Look at the floofs on the babies 🥰😍🥹

For anyone awaiting microchip transfers please bare with us. Our vets uses this company and so all the chips are on here. We unfortunately can not access the account or transfer any chips and it has been like this for over 2 weeks now. We will try and get all your microchips transferred as soon as we can. All of us at RRATS cats rescue apologies for any inconvenience caused by this. And as soon as the site is back up and running we will work to transfer the cats to your names. In the meantime our details are registered and the vets they was implanted at so to give you peace of mind we will be contacted if any are found wandering for any reason and we will reunite you. I have called them multiple times and they keep telling me it will be back up soon. Again sorry for the delays.

🐾 A heartbreaking but hopeful rescue story this morning… 🐾

This morning, I received a call from a lovely lady who works for Peabody. Earlier today, a Peabody employee discovered this tiny kitten at the dump. Sadly, another kitten was not so fortunate and was seen in the mouth of a fox. 💔

Thankfully, this little girl was rescued and brought to us here at RRATS Cats Rescue. Although we are currently full and really don’t have the space, we knew that if we didn’t take her, she could face the same fate as her sibling. There was no way we could leave her behind.

She is an absolute sweetheart – a real snuggle bug who just wants to be held and cuddled. She’s full of purrs and gives lots of little licks, and surprisingly has no signs of fleas. Given her condition and friendly nature, we believe she may have been dumped.

We would like to make a heartfelt plea to anyone struggling with kittens or unable to find homes for them: please contact a rescue for help. There are people and organisations willing to advise, support, and assist wherever possible.

Please do not dump cats or kittens. Being abandoned leaves them frightened, vulnerable, and at risk of injury, starvation, disease, or predation. Every cat deserves the chance to be safe and cared for.

Thank you to the Peabody staff member who stopped to help and made sure this little girl got to safety. ❤️

For now, she’s safe, warm, loved, and beginning her new journey with us.

💔 We never wanted to write this post… but RRATS Cats Rescue desperately needs your help. 💔

Right now, we are struggling more than ever financially, and for the first time, we have had to make the heartbreaking decision to close our doors to new cats needing rescue. We also have cats already waiting to come into our care that we simply cannot afford to help right now.

Every single day we are fighting to keep going.

We currently have cats waiting for vaccinations so they can finally be rehomed into loving forever homes — but without donations, we cannot afford the vet care they need. Until they are vaccinated, they cannot move on, which means spaces stay full, and more cats are left waiting with nowhere safe to go.

Rescue is not just cuddles and happy endings. It is vet bills, food, litter, medication, emergency care, and sleepless nights worrying how we are going to manage another week.

We hate asking for help, but today we truly need our community.

🐭💕 These 3 stunning girls are looking for their forever home together as a trio.

We don’t often rehome small mammals, but when we see animals in need, we step in to help. These lovely females came into our care after their owner’s child developed severe skin issues, meaning they sadly could no longer keep them.

They are a little skittish at first, but they can be handled and with time, patience, and love we’re sure they’ll continue to grow in confidence.

These beautiful boys have come such a long way and are now finally ready to find their forever home together.

When Wray and Zeus first arrived with us, they were in a heartbreaking condition — covered in scabs, suffering with severe itchy skin, and with large areas of baldness. Their owner struggled to get them the vet treatment they required due to poor health. With lots of veterinary care, treatment, patience, and plenty of love, they have completely turned a corner and are now thriving.

They still have a few patches of fur growing back, but all of their skin issues have fully resolved and they have been cleared for rehoming by the vet. ✨

✔️ Flead & wormed

Wray and Zeus are honestly the most affectionate pair of boys you could ever meet. They absolutely adore human attention, love snuggling up close, and will happily shower their people with love all day long. They even know tricks like “sit” and “paw” — clever and cuddly! 🐱💕

They would prefer a home with no other pets where they can be the centre of attention, but they can live with children.

Black & white female kitten – vaccinated & microchipped.

Cherry is a very nervous little girl who didn’t get much handling when she was younger because her mum was extremely protective of her kittens. Since being weaned and separated, we’ve been slowly gaining her trust every day.

She now allows us to pick her up and hold her, although she still won’t willingly come over herself just yet. Cherry will need a patient and understanding home willing to continue building her confidence at her own pace. She would do really well in a home with other friendly cats to help her feel safe and settled. 💕

15 weeks old – bonded female pair – vaccinated & microchipped.

These two playful girls are full of fun and adventure! They are very sweet, confident kittens who love exploring and playing together.

They can live with:
