A Tasty Change of Bowl – Canis Plus® Complete Pork Meal
Give your dog something deliciously different with our grain-free Canis Plus® Complete Meal with high-quality pork. Packed with a generous amount of meat and a healthy portion of fat, this tasty recipe delivers the flavour dogs love alongside the nourishment they need.
We combine high-quality muscle meat with carefully selected offal, naturally providing a broad range of valuable nutrients. Then we add a thoughtfully chosen blend of celery, apple, and cranberry, complemented by h**p oil, watercress, cod liver oil, and seaweed meal for a naturally nutrient-rich and well-balanced recipe.
Eggshell powder provides a natural source of calcium, helping to make this a complete, species-appropriate meal that you can feel good about serving every day.
Why pork?
Pork can be an excellent alternative to more commonly used meats. When properly processed and cooked, it provides a high-quality source of protein and can be a particularly useful option when you're looking to introduce variety or explore different protein sources for dogs with dietary sensitivities.
Nothing unnecessary. Just good food.
As with all Canis Plus® complete meals, there are no additives, binders, or inferior fillers. Just carefully selected ingredients, naturally delicious flavour, and the quality your four-legged friend deserves.
Simple. Natural. Nourishing. And seriously tasty.

Canis Extra Omega-3 Algae Oil for Dogs
Plant-powered omega-3 for a healthier, happier dog – naturally.
Looking for a natural alternative to fish oil? Canis Extra Omega-3 Algae Oil provides a powerful, plant-based source of essential omega-3 fatty acids, naturally rich in DHA and EPA.
Made from Schizochytrium algae, this high-quality oil is an excellent way to supplement your dog’s daily diet and help maintain overall health and vitality.
Why does your dog need omega-3?
Omega-3 fatty acids are an important part of a balanced diet and can support your dog from nose to tail. They can help maintain:
Healthy skin and a glossy coat: Particularly useful for dogs prone to dry, flaky skin.
Brain function and concentration: Important throughout life, from growing puppies to working, sporting & senior dogs.
Heart and cardiovascular health: Helping support normal cardiovascular function.
Healthy joints and mobility: Supporting the musculoskeletal system, build and repair.
A strong immune system: Helping maintain your dog’s natural defences.
Healthy eyesight: DHA plays an important role in normal eye function.
Oral Hygiene: The body’s own self-healing mechanisms can be boosted by feeding omega-3 fatty acids. This can help oral hygiene by allowing gum inflammation and inflammation of the oral mucosa to heal more effectively.
Omega-3 can also help balance the higher levels of omega-6 fatty acids naturally found in meat-based diets.
A natural alternative to fish oil
Not every dog gets on with fish oil. Some dogs have fish intolerances or allergies, while others simply don't like the taste.
Our algae oil offers an excellent alternative. It is 100% plant-based and vegan, making it particularly suitable for dogs where fish oil isn't an option.
From algae to omega-3
Unlike many plant oils, Schizochytrium algae naturally produce the valuable long-chain omega-3 fatty acids DHA and EPA. Our algae oil is produced in a controlled and sustainable manner, providing a consistent source of these important nutrients.
Suitable for dogs of all ages – from energetic puppies to older dogs.

ROSETTES & CHAMPIONS - KCI Agility Championships 2026
At the world’s largest agility festival, it was raining rosettes for our Naturavetal sponsored teams!

And what a weekend they had…

Kear & Blitz qualified for Olympia! Blitz continues to prove himself as one of the most consistent performers at the very highest level. If I were a gambling man, I might be tempted to put a few pounds on this very special team!

Lott & pocket rocket Eva were simply sensational. Running last in a field of 200 in the Small Championship Agility class, Eva flew around the course to sn**ch 1st place, topping the leaderboard and qualifying for her first-ever Championship Final! We have a feeling this little superstar has plenty more to come.

Turner & Stitch, who is particularly partial to our meat rolls, also had a fabulous weekend, finishing an impressive 7th in the Combined 6–7 Agility.

And then came the icing on the cake…

Hands & Wild blew the lid off KCI to become the 2026 Champions! This team really can shift, with dog and handler working in absolute harmony. Their incredible performance has also earned them a place representing Great Britain at the World Championships in Finland later this year. What an achievement!

Of course, the biggest credit belongs to the incredible owners who put in the hours, dedication and training—and to their exceptional dogs who give everything when it matters most.

But we’re incredibly proud that Naturavetal’s healthy, natural nutrition is helping these remarkable dogs perform at their best. With more and more agility dogs powered by Naturavetal, we’re hoping this is just the beginning—and that there are plenty more podium finishes waiting around the corner!

A huge CONGRATULATIONS to all our owners and dogs. We feel very lucky to be part of your teams and to share in these incredible moments.

And a massive thank you to all the KCI organisers and volunteers for putting on such a fantastic event.

Finally, thank you to everyone who visited the Naturavetal stand. We had an absolute blast meeting so many dedicated owners—and, of course, all the wonderful furry characters who came to say hello! 🥰

If you missed us at KCI, probably because our stand was so busy, give us a call on 02085317804 or email [email protected]

Could Your Dog Be a Canine Superhero?
www.naturavetal.co.uk/paw-stories
Not every dog has what it takes to become an Explosive Detection Dog (EDD).
Selecting the right candidate is a highly specialised process. It often begins by looking at the parents, strong genetics can provide valuable clues about a dog's trainability and working potential. Of course, there are never any guarantees.
What sets an exceptional detection dog apart isn't just intelligence—it's drive. The best EDDs possess an extraordinary level of motivation, often displayed as an endless enthusiasm for play. To them, work is the ultimate game, and they're determined to win every time.
Physical fitness is equally important. These dogs work tirelessly in demanding environments and need the stamina, strength and resilience to perform at the highest level.
Detection dogs don't only come from carefully planned breeding programmes. Hidden talent can be found in all sorts of places. Mixed-breed dogs and even rescue dogs can excel in this role if they possess the magic combination of drive, focus and determination that can't be taught.
Many dogs have remarkable abilities waiting to be discovered. With the right guidance and training, those natural talents can flourish into something extraordinary.

Eating the rainbow — what could be more delicious and nutritious? 🌈🐾
Spring is all about transformation. As nature wakes up, your dog is going through changes too — shedding that winter coat, bursting with energy, and needing a little extra support along the way. It’s the perfect time to tap into your inner “chef” and give your pup a seasonal boost.
With thoughtfully chosen additions like Tausendgrün organic herbs, chlorella, or fresh berries, your dog’s everyday meal can turn into a vibrant, nutrient-packed gourmet experience. These natural extras don’t just support your dog through seasonal changes — they make every bite irresistibly tasty.
And this is just the beginning. There are plenty of other valuable supplements that can help support your dog during shedding season and beyond.

This is what Chewy’s owner Nikki had to say. It’s not been edited, apart from a few emoji’s 😊

“Morning, I just wanted to leave a big thank you message for just making this food, particularly the complete po***ck tins 🐟💚. Your food has quite literally saved our dog’s life 🐶✨

He's entering a palliative care phase after 2 years of battling 💔. He has a lot of complex conditions; his kidneys have taken the brunt. He can't have any of the recommended commercial renal food, he's got intolerances to peas, sweet potatoes, salmon—so trying to find a food to suit his needs has been a heartache 😔

He stopped eating the food we had him on originally and we had to do some emergency home cooking, but it’s not sustainable for us with work and stressing over him.

But he’s eaten up the po***ck cans 🐟🙌 and actually put a tiny bit of weight on, which is fantastic 🎉. He was 32kg in January and dropped to 30kg, which is nearing his rescue weight 😢. His body was just eating itself, but this week he's gone up to 30.9kg—it’s not a lot but it’s a win 🏆 and is a sign the food’s supporting him, which is amazing 💪💚

This food has been a lifesaver 🛟, though I know it’s not specifically renal, the levels are all low enough for him alongside his medication and the vets are really happy too 😊

He’s been repelling all food we’ve tried so I’m pretty sure we’ve been through every possible food available in the UK 🇬🇧
Just thank you, thank you! 🙏 I will be sharing this food with our local dog groups and pet shops 🐾

Best wishes Chewy💛, all at Naturavetal HQ wish you a continued recovery and look forward to seeing you rise up like Rocky… 🥊 ‘Getting Stronger’ 💪✨”

Have you ever wondered why some dogs seem to attract ticks like a magnet—while others hardly get any at all? 🐾
Of course, environment plays a role. Tall grass, forests, damp weather—all of these increase exposure. But there’s often more going on beneath the surface. A dog’s skin and coat reflect what’s happening inside the body, especially in the gut.

When the intestinal balance is off, it can show up as skin irritation, dull fur, itching, or recurring coat problems. And here’s the interesting part: parasites like ticks are often more attracted to animals whose systems are already under strain.

With tick season upon us, now is the perfect time to look deeper—not just at prevention, but at overall health.
👉 True, long-term support starts from within. Instead of only fighting visible symptoms, strengthen your dog’s foundation.

So where do you begin?
✅ Choose natural, species-appropriate nutrition ✅ Avoid chemical products when effective natural alternatives are available ✅ Support gut health regularly—even before problems appear

Think of your dog’s body like a barrel. It only overflows once it’s full. Symptoms are often the final signal that the system can no longer compensate. But if you support your dog early—before that overflow—you ease the metabolic load and strengthen overall vitality.
And produce a balanced, resilient body, which is often far less appealing to unwanted guests like ticks.

Healthy from the inside. Protected on the outside. 🐶✨
