6 year old Lathyrus (Teddy Bear) en route to winning the THE EHOA BE100 class at Allerton Park Horse Trials yesterday 🥹

So proud of this lad, I first met him when he was 12 days old at Saxelbye Manor Stud so to be here 6 years on is beyond special.

I think we have enough scope for novice looking at these pics 👀😆

Hugely grateful to all my sponsors and support team 🩵
Teddy fuelled by Connolly's RED MILLS feed ♥️ and Haygain UK steamed hay 💚
Riding in Amerigo saddles 💚 & a Menetics bridle and protected by Veredus® boots ( Zebra Products 🦓🇬🇧 ) 🖤
I am riding protected in uvex equestrian helmets and Racesafe body protector, air jacket and XC colours 🖤
And our whole day is made easy using the Eco Voltz Electric Bikes for course walking, equipment carrying and meaning mum can get the start and finish of the XC on camera! ♥️
Speaking of Mum, my absolute biggest supporter Bookkeeping & Admin for Small Businesses - honesty I don’t know what I would do without you. If you need an amazing bookkeeper / virtual assistant / business advice guru - she’s your gal 🩷

Congratulations to Evangeline Llewellyn-Smith riding Lathyrus who won our EHOA sponsored BE100 owner rider section today.

Board Director Ian McMullen presented Evangeline with her prize. :

We’ve come a long way 🥹

Always a huge advocate for looking back to see how far you have come and my goodness does Teddy do a good glow up reel!

I’m so proud that we have come from the start of this season having to pull out of an UA 90 because the XC warmup was too overwhelming to now confidently jumping around BE100!!

In reality I think he would be grand around a soft Novice now but we are in no hurry so more education at BE100 it is then a winter of more practice ready for an incredibly exciting 2027 season I think 🤞🏻🥰

Dressage day ✅

And done in style 🤩 Doney produced a lovely test for 34.6 to sit in lucky 13th place overnight in a section full of very high calibre combinations as we head into XC tomorrow - and with just 4.2 penalties separating us from 2nd place 🥳

I am so grateful for this boy taking me to some amazing events. Who would have thought we would be here when I took Doney over just for £1 four years ago! 🥹
